Today, 21 years on from the 7/7 bombings, we remember the 52 people who lost their lives in the attacks, including our colleague Lee Baisden, and all those affected by their loss. We also thank our staff and our emergency services partners for their efforts on that tragic day.

Last week, Catherine Briody, head of Islington's Violence Against Women and Girls and Youth Safety Commissioning services, was invited to give evidence during the Lords committee's scrutiny on the Domestic Abuse Act. The cross-bench committee is reviewing how the legislation is working in practice, and identifying gaps in implementation. In her evidence, Catherine highlighted Islington's leading targeted prevention approach, focus on empowering survivors and partnership working across services 💚🤝

To celebrate @Arsenal Premier League title win, a parade will take place in Islington on Sunday 31 May from 2pm. This will be a major event, with a large number of visitors. Expect road closures and a busier borough, so plan ahead whether you're celebrating or not (1/3)

We took 3,644 calls and attended over 2,000 incidents over a very busy Bank Holiday weekend period. With the fine weather set to continue over half-term, we're urging people to be careful outdoors and particularly around the water. london-fire.gov.uk/safety/wa…
