As soon as the Canes scored to make it 3-2, you had to know as an Islander fan the game was over. This garbage team is old, slow, and thanks to Lou we have contracts that are atrocities and unmovable. Making the playoffs was a complete waste of time to lose in 4 or 5 games.
Weak take. He's the 2nd pick of the draft and is the worst statistically of an QB of all time after 31 games. If he was half as good as CJ Stroud Jets would be 7-5 right now. He should have been cut after Rodgers trade.
Zach Wilson should not play another snap for the Jets this year.
Zach was supposed to red shirt this year but instead he had his helmet on after 4 plays. He had some surprising wins, and some bad losses, but he always took responsibility and said the right thing.
Nothing went as planned this year but Zach did his best even though we all knew he wasn’t ready, and what did he get for that? All the blame. The Jets coaching staff basically caved to the mob and pinned all the struggles on Zach.
Clearly there are many other issues on the Jets and Zach was clearly not worse than Boyle and Siemien. I think it’s also clear that the Jets are looking to move on from Zach after this year.
So why should Zach play? He has nothing to gain and everything to lose if he gets hurt behind this trash OL. Also, at this point, playoffs are out of the question and the Jets should NOT want to start Zach as he is the only available QB that can actually get a win which would hurt our draft pick.
This year was always going to be tough, but in typical Jets fashion, we made things much harder for ourselves. It’s time to do what’s right. Bench Zach for the rest of the year and release him in the off-season. Then we can lose out and hope for a top 5 pick.

I'm curious about this:
With the #Isles season beginning next Saturday, how excited are people for this year on a scale of 1-10?
And lastly on this melancholy day of reminiscing about one of the true Isles Legends Josh Bailey, who remembers this incredibly clutch moment:
I’m really having a rough time coping with the loss of my favorite Islander. Josh Bailey brought a can do attitude & professionalism. I will miss brilliant plays like this:
Such a sad day to see Josh Bailey traded. What a class act and hero of mine. I’ll remember fondly Bailey’s monumental moments in Isles history like this:
Bedard has a great mentor? Really? Chicago is buying out Bailey. Bailey is one of the all time biggest busts in Isles history. The fact Snow/Lou kept him here this long is sickening.

Thank you Josh Bailey. One of the classiest, most loyal players in franchise history. 1000 games for one team is an excellent achievement and always elevated his game in the playoffs. Bedard has a great mentor in his first pro season.

Bailey has less goals than Martin (a player used mostly for his physicality) and Bailey has less goals than a defensive Dman (Mayfield). Bailey is the absolute WORST Top 6 forward in the NHL.
I recently heard this song. It came out in 1985. What a fucking ripoff Nirvana was: m.youtube.com/watch?v=x1U1Ue…

As great a Jets victory this was today, it goes to show just how abysmal and inept Zack Wilson is. He’s a complete energy vampire and sucks the life out of this entire organization every game except 2 quarters the entire season. He can’t make basic throws yet Mike White can???

Here’s the islander owner after the empty net goal sending his team to the conference finals saying “take that boomer!”
Nothing better than starting the weekend than seeing the Big Zoo @Zoobeard77 make a return to @WFANmornings
