Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has announced that Russia will not be permitted to compete at the 2027 World Junior Tournament in Alberta as long as the Ukraine invasion continues. The announcement comes just a week after the Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled that the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) must reinstate Russian teams.
