🚨 Mumbai City FC have released tickets for their first home game against Sporting Club Delhi, with 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐒 now available for booking on BookMyShow. Last season, only half the stadium was opened due to financial constraints. The availability of all stands this time is a significant development for fans. With tickets released directly to the public, 𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝. On the positive side, the affordable pricing, with tickets starting at as low as ₹99 should make it easier for fans to turn up in numbers for every home game🩵 #AamchiCity #TheIslanders #MGISL13 #ISL

"We need to keep the ball more. We had this problem even during pre-season. We have very fast wingers who want to finish the attack immediately, but sometimes they cannot hold the ball. We have the quality to keep possession, and we need to do better." "Punjab had more possession because they have eight players from last season. Perhaps we are not comfortable enough in possession at the moment, especially with players like Noufal and Vikram, who are very quick and want to attack immediately." Marquez also praised Farukh Choudhary's work rate but admitted that losing Vikram to injury would be a significant setback for the Islanders. 🤒 #AamchiCity #TheIslanders #PFCMCFC

🗣️Manolo Marquez on injuries: "Vikram looks to have a bad injury because he was hit on his shin bone. We will have to wait for the results. It is the same with Wilmar, who had a muscle problem towards the end of the game. Both look likely to be out for some time." #AamchiCity #TheIslanders #PFCMCFC

Manolo Marquez on Brandon playing out of position on the wings and Noufal on the right wing instead of left: “I'm the coach, I decide.” #PFCMCFC #TheIslanders #AamchiCity

The ideal starting XI for #PFCMCFC? Wilmar looked a little sluggish in the opener. Would he be better suited to coming off the bench? Brandon was played out wide while Noufal started on the right last game, neither in their natural positions. Brandon should play at #10, with Noufal on the left, where he excelled last season. This also gives us a solid backline with two foreign CBs to deal with Punjab's dangerous frontline. Thoughts? #AamchiCity #TheIslanders #MGISL13 #ISL

Why has Mumbai City FC’s squad announcement video, arguably the best in the league, not been featured here? You haven’t even covered all clubs, with most not having made anywhere close to this kind of content, yet Mumbai’s video has been deliberately left out? xitter.cf/MumbaiCityFC/status/21… Another example of exactly why this thread holds true. xitter.cf/Islanders_Extra/status… @curveball_media, @karanyadav21, @IndSuperLeague this is such a terrible look.

Former #MumbaiCity assistant coach Mario Lemos has officially parted ways with Indonesian top-tier club Persijap Jepara, again. A summary of his turbulent 16-month timeline with the club: • June 2025: Hired as Head Coach ➡️ Sacked in November. • December 2025: Reappointed to the vacant Technical Director role. • February 2026: Shifted back to Head Coach to finish out the season, saved them from relegation. • July 2026: Moved back to the role of Technical Director. • September 2026: Re-appointed as Head Coach for a third stint. • October 2026: Terminated following four consecutive league defeats. During the January 2026 transfer window, Persijap Jepara heavily raided the Indian Super League to revamp their squad. Alongside former Mumbai City defender @Tiri1991, who's still at the club, the club signed several ISL players including Borja Herrera, Iker Guarrotxena, Carlos Franca.

Since last season, the coverage on @IndSuperLeague’s page has been horrendous, to say the least. There is a clear pattern of favouritism towards a particular club, with the agency reportedly having people who previously worked with the club. From festival posters and edits to the frequency with which the team is mentioned across social media posts, the pattern is hard to ignore. Players from one club are repeatedly featured, sometimes with two players in the same edit, while other teams are completely overlooked. We’re sure other clubs have noticed the same pattern and can vouch for having received similar treatment. With a sponsor coming from a similar background and the league’s CEO having similar roots, these patterns only raise further questions about neutrality and fairness. All we ask is for every club to receive equal and unbiased coverage. The league’s official platform must represent all teams fairly, without giving any one club preferential treatment. @curveball_media @IndSuperLeague #MGISL13 #ISL

“It was an unrealistic pre-season. We played against very, very, very, very weak teams, and then you arrive at your first game against an ISL team. You are bound to struggle. Even in pre-season, we had the same problem. We created a lot of chances but were unable to score goals. Even against those weak teams, we were only winning 1-0 or 2-1. When you create around 10 chances and are not clinical, you have a problem. If you don't score your goals, the opponents will punish you” “Probably, there was a foul on Brandon before the second goal. But the players didn't protest. I would have liked to see them show some character and stand up for each other. The lack of character in this team is very, very clear. Not even protesting after the foul that led to the second goal, is something that disappoints me. A team without character is difficult to get things out of" Coach Manolo comes down hard on players after the opening game of the season ended in a defeat😶 #AamchiCity #TheIslanders #MGISL13 #ISL

“Our pre-season was a joke. The club was not able to organise a single strong game. All these games we played were a lie. (against local Mumbai teams and Calicut FC, an SLK side) This was our first game with a strong side, and we lost unfortunately.
