Film Series | Schwartz Athlete Spotlight ⭐️Isaiah “ZAY” Rodriguez @IsaiahLRod Wharton High School @whartonfootball WR 5'9 160 Lbs. C/O 2027 Every route is designed to put defenders in conflict, and this receiver consistently understands how to create those advantages. Sinks his hips naturally at the top of his routes, allowing him to explode in and out of his breaks without sacrificing speed or timing (1:05). His vertical stem continually forces deep safeties to respect the possibility of getting beaten over the top, creating separation both vertically and underneath. Has a natural feel for leverage against zone coverage, understanding where to uncover as the play develops while consistently presenting a dependable target for his quarterback. Dangerous from the slot, where his route running and change of direction create difficult matchup problems against linebackers and nickel defenders. Once the football arrives, he quickly transitions into an elusive runner capable of creating explosive plays in space. Strong hands through contact over the middle highlight both his concentration and willingness to absorb hits to finish the catch. In the red zone, his ability to separate without losing momentum consistently creates clean throwing windows and touchdown opportunities. A receiver who wins with intelligence, precision, and the ability to stress defenses at every level of the field. Film Link: hudl.com/v/2SmdrN
