I'm moving over. I'll be at Isabel-losada.bsky.social Hope to find you there. So long, and thanks for all the tweets. xxx

Wonderful to see #TheJoyfulEnvironmentalist quoted in this important @guardian article today. We are all tired of being told that whatever we do won't make a difference. It's not true. #environmentalism @WatkinsWisdom shorturl.at/7LHmE

Researching #heatpumps What a topic. Everything about them is excellent despite what the trolls say. A friend, with a small garden, has his on the roof of his kitchen extension. Works just fine up there.

Things I'm angry about. (15) In Canada - well qualified nursery care is £10 a day. In the UK it's £100 a day bringing it out of the reach of most young parents. #childcare #nursery @MumsnetTowers

Things I'm angry about (14) the British government took children from Ukraine to be treated at @GreatOrmondSt but has offered no treatment to children injured in #Gaza #Palestine @SaveUKNews @MSF

Things I'm angry about (13) @wandbc is STILL spraying with glyphosate. Despite local environmentalists begging them to stop killing our plants & insects with this toxic carcinogen. @XRWandsworth @EnableParks @wandsworthnews @wandsworthgreen @WandsworthLab

Things I'm angry about. (12) There are 10,141 cases to sexual assault waiting to go to court. Most women consider it's not even worth going to the police to report the rape. Still. In 2024. And this includes women MPs. How is this reality?

Things I'm angry about. 11. Motor bikes with extra loud exhausts & the #noisepollution this causes. Pity those with babies, children, #PTSD sensitive hearing or a nervous disposition. Noisy exhausts pipes don't make men more macho. Why is it legal? #motorbike #motorcycles

Things I'm angry about 10. That the property developers have more rights than nature. Why is it legal to cut down ancient woodland? Why can't we add a row of zeros to the fines for ignoring tree protection orders? #trees @TreesforCities @TreesforStreets

Things I'm angry about. 9. People eat animals. They know about the horrendous cruelty in our intensive 'meat' factories - & choose to ignore it. Spend thousands on vets bill for dogs & cats and then sit & eat pigs, lambs & cows. #bacon #vegan #food #kindness

Things I'm angry about. 8. Homelessness. And that somehow, during Covid, it was possible to get people off the streets. But now it isn't. Despite empty property on every street. How have we come to accept this?

Things I'm angry about 7. The offer of @BorisJohnson to send '£350 million a week (that he said we gave to the EU) to the NHS instead. Are we doing that? And if not, what figure are we giving the NHS that we formerly sent to the EU? #BrexitHasFailed #Brexit @NHS @Conservatives

Things I'm angry about. 6. I'm angry about the heinous inequality in educational opportunity. In my street - 2 schools - a free state school (kids 98% children of colour) a very expensive private school (kids 98% white) How is this a reality in London in 2024?

Things I'm angry about. 5. I'm angry that the government has granted licences for #Rosebank Oil Field. We know we need to leave the oil in the ground. Pure greed on the part of @Equinor

Things I'm angry about. 4. I'm angry that footballers and other sportsmen (who are playing a sport they love) get paid more than doctors, nurses, firefighters and teachers.

Things I'm angry about. 3. I'm angry about the extreme inequality in the UK - the super rich next to the homeless and we all seem to have got used to this as if any part of it is acceptable.

Things I'm angry about. 2. I'm angry that scientists have been warning us about climate change for over a decade and no-one listened.

A friend said this morning that she's not angry about anything. How is this possible? So here are some things I'm angry about. 1. I'm angry that international governments have failed to stop the war in the Middle East and in Congo.
