By carefully watching this video Which, as a proper coquette, I watched to the end I realized that we live in the most slovenly era of the past 125 years…

What fascinates me most about ancient Roman engineering is how something built centuries ago can still leave us amazed today. Looking at this underground water channel, I can’t help wondering about the people who designed and constructed it without modern machinery, computers, or advanced surveying tools. The Romans understood something fundamental about engineering: water could be moved efficiently by using gravity, carefully planned gradients, and durable construction. Their aqueduct systems supplied cities, baths, fountains, and households, becoming an essential part of urban life. What I find most impressive is the practical thinking behind such structures. This wasn’t architecture created merely to impress the eye; it served a real purpose and reflected a deep understanding of materials and water management. Ancient engineering reminds us that progress isn’t always about having the newest technology. Sometimes, it’s about understanding the basics so well that your work continues to inspire people nearly two millennia later.

This is what the beginning of the surveillance state looks like in America Americans in Connecticut received a bill for additional taxes on their car because cameras spotted it in a different city A private company called Municipal Tax Service (MTS) is hired by cities to drive around and use automatic license plate readers on cars parked in different cities It then makes connections if that car lives in that area and sends the owner a bill for new taxes on that vehicle for being in the city The owner of this vehicle says she doesn’t live in that city, provided proof and says her car was only in a different city because her kid drives there for school MTS didn’t care and said that the proof didn’t matter and they had to pay it. They appealed to the city, the city said they had to deal with MTS But here’s the problem, MTS gets paid 38% commission on tax revenue they recover + $50 per vehicle billed to the owner. They made $9 million in commission in just one year from sending people additional tax bills So this company has no incentive to ever help you and just deny you, which they did Only after the mainstream media got involved would the city drop this one new tax bill which was false to begin with In America we now literally have private companies driving around scamming our license plates to tax us more money This is insanity and it needs to end

I leave you with three pups who lost their lives today in the City that never sleeps…the City of Strays and Emaciated Pups…. It’s getting more and more difficult to write these posts…the senseless daily killing of innocents…. These three souls couldn’t have been more different…ages, backstories, breeds, but the one commonality is their victimhood in a 🇺🇸 kill pound. Frogger was a one year old puppy who was so petrified and full of terror he couldn’t leave the safety of hiding under his elevated bed. What did this outfit do? They killed him just like they kill all pups who enter these walls of dog spirits who are captured by an intense fear. Beauty was a two year old gal who was surrendered by her human because she kept having vaginal prolapses requiring two surgeries to reduce and a spay…but she was still having issues…could she have been assaulted by a human in a devious way…I hope not…this beautiful girl arrived to the pound, was excited and they killed her…she was happy and loving…a ray of sunshine in that dank murder house…. Goldie was a twelve year old senior who was surrendered by her adopter who years ago, when Goldie was here at the pound, took her into their lives…she arrived a short time ago…days, was not on the at risk to be killed list and was thrust onto the kill command list this afternoon and they killed her early this evening…she looked so defeated in her crate looking up staring at the person taking her pic with a glimmer of hope…. This outfit steals the shine ✨ and hope and happiness of all who enter its entombed walls. It’s a mausoleum of lives cut short…healthy adoptable lives never given the chance to thrive. Remember them. Look into their eyes one more time before you scroll on by….

AUSTIN MAN slams into a stopped minivan at 103 mph on Mother's Day, right in front of a cop, and kills a fire captain hours after his fifth son was born. DA Jose Garza's office asked him to pay a small fine. Marvin Taylor was on his way to pick up his four other boys so they could meet their new baby brother. He was sitting at a red light on Koenig Lane when a Dodge Durango doing 103 in a 45 zone slammed into him and threw his van 150 feet. He died pinned inside. The officer found the driver, Rodney Bremby, with bloodshot eyes and slurred speech and stench of alcohol. He was charged with intoxication manslaughter, which carries up to 20 years in prison. A judge revoked his bond twice while the case was pending, and both times he was back out within two weeks. On Monday he got 10 years of probation, community service, and $535 in fees. Five boys have lost their father, and the man who killed him just had to pay a small fine and promise not do it again before going back home.

A 3-year-old boy was kidnapped from a public library, and less than an hour later, he was sitting on a city bus beside the man who had taken him. The little boy was crying, and the other passengers had no idea he had been abducted. But when the bus driver looked at the child, he suddenly realized he matched the description of a missing boy police were desperately searching for. It happened in Milpitas, California. Bus driver Tim Watson had heard the police alert about a missing 3-year-old boy earlier that day. When a man boarded his bus with a crying child, something didn’t seem right. The more Tim looked at the little boy, the more he suspected he was the child everyone was searching for. But Tim couldn’t risk confronting the man. If he was the kidnapper, one wrong move could put the little boy in even greater danger. So Tim came up with a clever plan. He announced to the passengers that someone had reported a missing green backpack and began walking through the bus, pretending to search for it. As he moved past the man and child, Tim got a closer look and confirmed his suspicions. He quietly contacted dispatch to alert police, then returned to his seat and continued driving as though nothing had happened. All the while, the suspected kidnapper remained on board, completely unaware that the driver had recognized the child. Tim kept his composure until police were able to intercept the bus. Officers rushed aboard, arrested the suspect, and brought the little boy to safety. Thanks to one observant bus driver who refused to ignore his instincts, a terrifying kidnapping ended with a child being returned to his family. Tim Watson wasn’t a police officer or a trained rescuer. He was simply a bus driver who recognized a child in danger and found a way to save him without putting him at greater risk. Let’s give this incredible man the recognition he deserves.

They walk out of an Oregon Walmart and find a taped-up box sitting next to their truck… then notice something moving inside 😳 "Is that a chicken?" "No, that's gotta be a cat." "Oh, it's a puppy… it's a couple." One of them was malnourished and close to the end. A stranger in the parking lot offered to rush them to a shelter. Should dumping animals like this mean jail time, or just a fine? What should their punishment be? Should Walmart hand over the parking lot footage to find who did this?

🚨 POLICE SERGEANT FIRED AFTER DEPLOYING TASER SEVEN TIMES ON MAN EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY A man was outside his OWN HOME putting up Halloween decorations when he suffered a seizure, collapsed in his yard, and needed emergency medical assistance. What happened afterward has now resulted in a police sergeant losing his job. On October 25, Dwight Jackson was decorating for Halloween in Chattahoochee, Florida, when he suddenly collapsed. His brother, Caleb Johns, called for help. According to Johns, Jackson had been experiencing a seizure for approximately TEN MINUTES before EMS arrived. Paramedics were already treating him when Sgt. Price of the Chattahoochee Police Department arrived. According to Jackson’s brother, EMS personnel had been rendering aid for approximately 45 minutes when the officer intervened. Johns described the officer pushing people aside and jumping on Jackson as he was beginning to regain awareness. THE OFFICER DEPLOYED HIS TASER SEVEN TIMES. Police Chief Michael Miller claims EMS requested assistance because they were having difficulty restraining a combative individual. He also claims Jackson physically resisted the officer and pulled on his body armor. Jackson says he wasn’t intentionally combative. He was suffering a medical emergency. And anyone familiar with seizures should understand that involuntary movements and post-seizure confusion can occur. Jackson later described the experience as “more terrifying than war” because he was defenseless and had no idea what was coming. But there are additional developments that I have discovered… According to reporting on the police chief’s findings: ▪️ The officer reportedly FAILED TO RECORD the initial encounter and use of force on his body camera. ▪️ A supervisory review of available footage identified ANOTHER use-of-force incident while Jackson was being transferred into the police department. ▪️ Jackson reportedly suffered ANOTHER SEIZURE while at the police station, requiring EMS to be called again and resulting in his transportation to a hospital. ▪️ A separate recording captured Sgt. Price in a verbal confrontation with an EMS employee. ▪️ Jackson says he was never formally booked into jail and was eventually released. On October 28, Police Chief Michael Miller announced that Sgt. Price had been TERMINATED following the department’s review. Jackson is now considering legal action.
