Today is the birthday of former Germany striker, Stefan Kuntz.
His unfortunate name became a long-running joke on Fantasy Football League in the 90s. And hereβs the John Motson clip which started it all off.
Just brilliant.

ONCE IS IMPRESSIVE, BUT TWICE?!
Preston Fearon managed to score TWO halfway-line goals in the same match for West Ham U21s. Absolutely outrageous! π€―

Independent Football Regulator (IFR) chair David Kogan has promised he will resign if he comes under any political pressure to refrain from issuing any possible sanctions against Manchester Cityβs ownership and senior executives for their part in the clubβs financial breaches.
Any talk of sanctions is hypothetical at this point, as City have appealed against the independent commissionβs core decision in the so-called β115 caseβ, but if the Premier League leaders fail to overturn that decision, the IFR will be called into action.

The Premier League's descent into a farce of a season began in earnest this afternoon. What a mess. City top of a league they may be kicked out of in a few months. It felt like another bad day for English football today.

It seems a bit ridiculous to me that we just carry on as normal after the league leaders have just been convicted of the worst cheating in English football history.
