If you're ever wondering about whether to continue a relationship with someone watch the New York Ripper with them. If they like it that means they're a keeper. If they don't they'll probably break up with you.

So I’m 5 episodes into Carrie and Mike Flanagan basically turned Carrie into 13 Reasons why…but I kinda like it.
This is subjective but …
Name three PERFECT movies. No argument. No explanation. Just three flicks you think are perfect. Here are mine:
1. The Beyond
2. Once Upon a Time in the West
3. A Patch of Blue
To go along with OBSCENE DESIRE for next episode, Greg and I decided to look at another Giulio Petroni film, his spaghetti western starring Lee Van Cleef, DEATH RIDES A HORSE.
On next episode of Black Glove Mysteries on Land of the Creeps @GregaMortis and I finish the Bloodstained Italy set with Giulio Petroni’s OBSCENE DESIRE.
Jaws is way better than the book.
There are countless movies that are better than the source novel. Strangers On a Train, Vertigo, Psycho, The Spiral Staircase, The Shining, Eyes Wide Shut, Belle de Jour, The Big Heat, Blade Runner.
It may be true that film adaptations of Great Literary Books are usually not as good as the book. That's because movies and novels are entirely different art forms. The idea that the book is always better is popular among those who do not understand this and do not understand movies. You can make a mediocre movie from a great book and you can make a great movie from a mediocre novel.
