Eternal gratitude to @PercyVgc for prepping the whole year for me.
Forever thank you to @IronManVGC for always being my dude whenever I need.
What a strange posture I have when I'm in the Zone.

VGC judges collectively gave me 2 round losses for their error.
After Round 5 (3-2), I stayed at the table to mentally prepare for the next round. With no ongoing matches nearby, the staff repeatedly rushed me to leave. I packed up in a hurry and left my Switch on the dock. When Round 6 started, I noticed my Switch was missing and immediately told the staff about it, including Loss and Found, the judge who rushed me and other judges. Despite describing my switch and providing the switch and in game name at lost and found, they refused to double check the lost and found box and insisted the Switch there wasn’t mine.
About 15 minutes later, another judge reported that my Switch was found. Miraculously the switch was wrapped with a paper displaying, not the console name nor in-game name, but my full name that appears on pairings. Some floor staff must have identified that I was the player leaving the Switch, but did not return it in Round 6. I had no way to get my switch back because of the staff. Despite this, the head judge ruled that I had delayed the match too long and forced a Game 1 loss on me. I lost the game to some misfortune.
As we appeal the decision, the assistant lead said we may have a conversation on how we proceed and we needed a Cantonese translator. The search for the translator and the conversation took around 20 minutes, which Round 7 has started. Before the conversation, the assistant lead, in such choice of words, promised that I would not receive penalty in starting late due to this conversation. The conversation concluded in: The Head Judge believed it was practically not possible to complete the whole search and find process within 5 minutes so based on perception (not evidence) a game loss would be reasonable.
After the conversation, my opponent had already left. The assistant lead did not tell my opponent to stay for the match, so he told me we may have a double win [first in history of worlds? see score sheet]. Later the VGC lead came and told me, the system cannot perform a double win, so he is assigning the defeat to me. As a follow-up, he told me I may file a support ticket if I would like to complain about this situation.
This decision feels incredibly unfair. Whether I complain or not, or whatever the result of the complaint may be, and my worlds journey this year ended like that.. This is WORLD championships, every mistake made by each involved staff could be prevented. Such unprofessional performance crushed my dreams and efforts I’ve worked towards for many years.

The problem with Asian countries playing VGC has gotten worse to a point that it feels surreal. I cannot imagine the frustration from players that put so much passion and work into the game we love, yet TPC keeps showing how unprofessional they can be. First Korea and now this…
In alignment with the recent Korea issue, here are more examples of how Asian VGC players are treated unfairly by TPC:

Insanity.
TPC has given out wrong info on the deadline to in-game registration.
Multiple players have lost their seats.
In a more outrageous fashion, several players have reported to have received an email completely in cryptic codes.

Got 3rd place out of 61 players in the 2nd SV local in Hong Kong! Probably my most tiring run, but not too shabby for my first Gen 9 tournament 🙂
Thanks @Paul_Chua_ for the team and prep and @hugo0379 for hosting. Can’t wait to compete when I am back in the US this season 😄

Huge thanks to @VGCPastes for making bracket for us again!
Congratulation to all winners and see you guys in series 3 Druddigon Cup!
For those who have watched the stream: I swear I pressed Tera for Moon in G2 of my Top 4 match. Guess I pressed R1 too quickly and it did not register. Found out afterward that I could press it without R1 like the Dynamax button. Sucks to go out this way, but GGs to @SiuHinVGC
