You can find a list of Stampex stand holders at no cost to you at stampexinternational.com/staโฆ
โฆ and you can find approved PTS Members at no cost to you on our PTS Online Directory at thepts.net/members - this list reflects our membership list real time so can always be trusted.
If you receive an email from the PTS and Stampex Team, it will come from an @thepts.net email address but if you are not sure if an email from us or one of our members is legitimate, you can email [email protected] and weโll look into it for you.
We continue to report such emails ourselves but you can help us make philately safer by reporting this email as phishing /junk if you receive it.

1860: Argentina, province of Corrientes which issued its own stamps until 1880. Print from a wooden plate, it's always surprising when you first see it; you might mistake it for a forgery, clumsily imitating a French Ceres stamp. #philately #stampcollecting

Its amazing that ciphers from #Britishmonarchs adorn many #Irish postboxes 150 later.
Patrick Ryan explores why.

While visiting Edinburgh, I passed by Robert Murray's stamp shop (established in 1977). I knew it was closing. I took these photos as a memento. Perhaps there are still some treasures in those boxes. So many people must have found happiness here... ๐#philately #stampcollecting

1898: cover addressed to Thomas Cook & Son, travel agency in Luxor, Egypt. This Cie was founded by Thomas Cook (photo) and owned by the Cook family until 1928. From that date onward, it was sold several times and went bankrupt in September 2019. #philately #stampcollecting

1867: Cover from Dublin to Paris (Hรดtel Suffren) via Calais, franked from Ireland with a French 40-centime Napoleon-type stamp, which makes it particularly interesting, but in fact, it served little purpose from a postal standpoint (unless there's another explanation @IrishStamps ). The recipient still had to pay the full 80-centime or 8-decime postage to receive the letter. Currently up for auction at RHP. #philately
