Nearly 52% of abortions in Nepal are 𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲.
According to a study conducted in 2022 by the Family Welfare Division and Ipas Nepal, a significant number of women still undergo unsafe abortions. This data highlights that despite legal access to safe abortion services, many women are unable to access these services.
Unsafe abortions pose serious risks, making it crucial to expand awareness and access to safe abortion services.
