Beyond the Label "Houthi" If you follow Middle East geopolitics, you’ve likely seen a confusing mix of names such as Houthis, Ansar Allah, SPC, IRG, and YAF, used when discussing the conflict in Yemen. Understanding how these groups name themselves reveals a lot about how they see their own legitimacy. 1. "Houthi" vs. "Ansar Allah" While Western media almost universally uses the term Houthis, the movement itself calls its members Ansar Allah (أنصار الله), which translates to "Supporters of God." The name "Houthi" stems from the surname of their founding family (Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi). The group generally dislikes being called "Houthis" because it reduces a broad political and religious movement to a single family dynasty or tribal militia. 2. State Identity: The Supreme Political Council (SPC) Ansar Allah does not view itself as a rebel group or a separate country. They claim to be the official, legitimate government of the Republic of Yemen. The Civil Government: After taking the capital, Sana'a, they established the Supreme Political Council (SPC) to act as the civil governing authority in their territory. The Military: When issuing official defense statements, they refer to their military as the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) to project national legitimacy. The Flag: While the movement has its own distinct banners, including the infamous white Sarkha banner with red/green text and a yellow movement flag, they still fly the traditional red, white, and black national flag of Yemen over official state buildings. 3. The Opposing Faction On the other side of the conflict is the internationally recognized government, often abbreviated in analysis as the IRG or the PLC (Presidential Leadership Council), operating out of Aden. Quick Reference Guide Ansar Allah (AA): The formal name of the movement itself. Supreme Political Council (SPC): The Ansar Allah-led governing council in Sana'a. Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF): What the Sana'a authorities call their military forces. Internationally Recognized Government (IRG / PLC): The opposing, Western/Saudi-backed government based in Aden. Understanding these distinctions helps clarify how the different factions frame their sovereignty and power on the international stage. Flag Images: Red, White, & Black Flag: The official national flag of the Republic of Yemen. Yellow Flag: The official Ansar Allah group logo flag. Yes looks like another more famous flag. White Banner with Red & Green Text: The Sarkha ("The Shout"), the primary Ansar Allah movement banner seen at political rallies, public demonstrations, and military recruitment events.

🇾🇪 Ansarallah now controls every entry point to Taiz, a city of more than 1 million people, and 20 of the province's 23 districts, Drop Site reported earlier this week. The entrances have become active frontlines, and drivers can only get in or out during brief lulls. Fighting and road closures have cut aid to about 800,000 people in and around the city, and wheat flour stocks are nearly exhausted, according to the World Food Programme. The International Organization for Migration says 201,217 people have been newly displaced by the escalation. Inside the city, 20 liters of petrol now costs 90,000 riyals, up from 30,000, and bread is about 50% more expensive, Drop Site reported. Schools and universities are closed, and dialysis patients can no longer safely reach hospitals. Sanaa's military says it has offered civilians safe routes out and accuses the forces inside of keeping crossings closed. Officials of the Saudi-backed government accuse Ansarallah of blocking fuel and gas tankers from entering the city, speaking to Al Jazeera Arabic. Neither claim could be independently verified. Residents told the Financial Times that fuel trucks can't reach the city because of fighting on the main roads, and that leaving now means crossing active front lines. "We missed the window to flee safely, so we have no choice now," Walid Saeed, an electrician, told Drop Site. 🔗 Read Drop Site's full dispatch from Taiz below.
⚡️ NEW at @DropSiteNews: Encircled by War, Yemen's Taiz Residents Brace for Fighting and a Renewed Siege Ansarallah now controls all entry points to Taiz, tightening a siege on Yemen’s third largest city and causing skyrocketing fuel prices, food shortages, and panic among residents. dropsitenews.com/p/yemen-tai…

75 more bodies pulled from the rubble. Another mass funeral & it’s hardly a blip in the news. Bodies were in the rubble of buildings in Al-Daraj located in the northeastern part of Gaza city. Thousands are still missing as Israel continues to bulldoze its genocide away.

Saudi Arabia is an artificial entity created by the British Empire to serve as a client state and a dagger in the heart of the Arab and Islamic world, much like the Zionist entity. The difference is that the Saudi regime falsely cloaks itself in Islam.

BREAKING: According to a just released statement from Ghalibaf, Iran is set to launch the “Persian Gulf Data Authority”. This yet to be launched entity SEEMS to be an attempt by Iran to impose some kind of restrictions on countries and companies that conduct business with people or countries “giving resources to any AI or data company aiding in invasions or killing children”. Does the name sound familiar to you? That’s because Iran also launched the Persian Gulf STRAIT Authority (PGSA) as their formalization of the “Tehran Toll Booth” that has been operating now for several months despite it being sanctioned by the United States. This is a BOLD move for Iran, and one that seems to be a continuing indication that Iran is pursuing total regional hegemony and views their current position in the U.S./Iran War as one that will allow them to further coerce Gulf countries to bend the knee to Iran. While I am HIGHLY skeptical that this PGDA will bear any notable fruit, it IS still significant in the continuing evolution of the role Iran intends to play in the region and the world at the conclusion of the Iran War.
The Persian Gulf Data Authority is coming. To governments, funds, and firms in the region: you are kindly advised to give no resources to any AI or data company aiding invasions or killing children. No finance, equity, land and energy. Assist them and face our enforcement.

I may be reading too much into this statement, and I certainly hope I am wrong. But it is hard not to interpret it as suggesting that Netanyahu promised Trump another joint military operation against Iran in exchange for his political support. In other words, Netanyahu may have effectively committed Israel to another war with Iran to secure his political future, regardless of the potential consequences. If that is indeed the case, it would be an extraordinary and troubling revelation. Israel cannot afford another war with Iran driven by political calculations rather than a genuine national security necessity. #IranWar‌
🚨🚨🚨Trump endorses Netanyahu ahead of the elections in a post on Truth Social: To the Great People of Israel: Bibi Netanyahu has been a Great Warrior Prime Minister, and an even greater Partner for Peace in combatting the Islamic Republic of Iran, with its 51 year old chant, “Death to Israel, Death to America! We will destroy the Little Satan and the Big Satan.” What Country can survive when things such as this are allowed to be said, because eventually, they always end up being true? It would have been only a question of time until Iran would have put that ominous phrase into effect, but they have been systematically destroyed, both Militarily and Financially, and unless they change their ways, rapidly, we will soon finish the job. If Israel has the wrong Leader, which would be anyone other than Bibi, America will have to do this work ourselves, and I am not inclined to do so. Bibi Netanyahu has been Strong, Brave, and Brilliant in the face of tremendous opposition, including that coming from even Israel, itself. Despite all of that, he has endured and, in fact, he has thrived! I have watched Bibi under the most trying of times. Normal men or women in such situations would have wilted under the pressure — But Bibi did not wilt, he actually got stronger, and maintains that same Strength today. This is the kind of Partner that the United States of America is demanding of Israel, a Country for which it has done so much. Please let this Letter serve to represent my Complete and Total Endorsement of Bibi Netanyahu in his upcoming Race for Re-Election as Prime Minister of Israel. BIBI NETANYAHU WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN! Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The world is going to suffer for many more months through a massive energy crisis. The oil price is back up to $110 USD, which is basically the same as it was at the peak of the US war against Iran in April and May. This is going to have very negative consequences for the global economy. Inflation has already been rising in most countries, and will likely further increase. The US war against Iran unleashed what the International Energy Agency called the biggest oil supply disruption crisis in history. Now, Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil refineries and depots are only making this worse. Moreover, the US-backed Saudi war against Yemen has led Ansarallah to retaliate by hitting Saudi oil infrastructure, further exacerbating the energy crisis. There are no signs of this getting better any time soon. Buckle up.

Why Egypt will eventually be pulled into the war in Yemen on Saudi Arabia's side directly. I was one of the first accounts over 5 months back that told my readers Egypt would enter the Middle East war. I do not look at what governments say alone, I look at data, its needs, wants and necessities. I saw that the war in the Middle East was becoming an Existential War for Egypt even though Egypt is on a different continent and in the outer periphery of the war between Iran and USA … The reason I saw was economic pressure and financial. Egypt carries a chronic, structural weakness that has shadowed it for decades, and that weakness is its currency. The Egyptian pound keeps devaluing, inflation keeps climbing, and the state stays upright only by getting its hands on hard currency, US dollars, to keep itself standing. The numbers make it concrete. Egypt is roughly a $380 to $400 billion dollar economy, but what holds it together is the foreign currency it pulls in from outside, and that comes from three pillars. All three run straight through the stability of this region. The first is the Suez Canal. Ships pay their tolls in hard currency, and at its peak the canal earned Egypt about $9.4 billion dollars a year. Since the Ansarallah Houthis started hitting the Red Sea, traffic has rerouted around Africa and that revenue has fallen by roughly half, with Sisi himself saying the canal has lost close to $9 billion dollars over two years. This is already happening, not a future risk. The second is tourism, worth a record $15 to $17 billion dollars a year, and nothing empties the Red Sea resorts and the hotels faster than a regional war that’s on international media coverage everyday for months… The third is the blind spot almost no one counts, human capital. Millions of Egyptians work across the Gulf, the largest numbers in Saudi Arabia, around a million in the UAE, and more spread through Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq and Jordan. What they send home is Egypt's single biggest source of foreign currency, a record of over $37 billion dollars last year. When a region goes to war and economies seize up, foreigners and expats are the first workers let go, so those Egyptians get sent home, their dollars stop arriving, and the lifeline thins out at the EXACT moment Egypt needs it most. Those three pillars, worth more than $55 billion dollars a YEAR together, are the dollar engine of the entire country, and every one of them is directly exposed to this war. All of it can break at once. The Red Sea stays closed, Suez income falls, tourism dries up and Gulf remittances shrink together, which drains the dollars holding up the pound, pushes the currency down further, drives inflation harder, and corners a country of over 100 million people into the kind of economic pain that governments do not want and can endanger its survival… At that point Egypt is no longer choosing. Its dollar lifelines all depend on reopening the Red Sea and calming the Gulf, and the force choking that artery is the Houthis in Yemen. Protecting the canal, the tourists and the workers stops being “economic policy” and becomes a “national security necessity”, which is how a state ends up at war whether it wanted to or not. L And, this is why Egypt cannot stay on the sidelines anymore. It joins because the war has reached its wallet, not out of any appetite for the fight, and that is the difference between a “Coalition of the Willing” and the “Coalition of the Forced” this has become, one more state pulled in as the conflict widens and swallows the region. The war continues… 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗟, 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗜𝗦𝗘!!

Julian Assange’s WikiLeaks revealed that the US🇺🇸 views major financial institutions such as the World Bank and IMF as unconventional "weapons" to be used against adversaries.
Former Economic Hit Man John Perkins: ‘Trump has given us a GIFT, and that he’s brought the economic hitman strategy out into the open. The things that I did in secret and on a much smaller scale, he’s now doing totally publicly, and on a very, very large scale. And the country is going along with him to a large degree. And by the country, I don’t necessarily mean the people, but the politicians, certainly the Republicans are going along with him. The corporate executives are going along with him. The universities, everybody has given in to him. He’s used, I talk about the four pillars of the economic hitman strategy, and he’s used them all brilliantly. But fear is perhaps the one he’s used most brilliantly of all. People are scared of this man, and you can understand why they’re scared of him.’ Watch the full interview in the quoted post below 👇 @jperkinsauthor

I remain convinced the Russians are, on net, stronger and better positioned for future 21st century military operations than they ever have been in the post-Cold War era. They possess the most potent, abundant, and battle-proven missilry, drones, and other precision munitions on the planet. The Russians are state-of-the-art, and their production capability far exceeds the collective west. The reality in Ukraine is that the Russians have systematically ground down 2+ million Ukrainian men and have progressively defeated the entire spectrum of front-line western arsenals. And, contrary to prevailing myths, I continue to strongly maintain that this war will attest in retrospect the most disproportionate casualty ratio of any major war in modern times. I do not understand how so many people continue to believe the demonstrable fiction of massive Russian casualties. Can you not see what they have been doing all this time? The only time the Russians were ever profligate in their use of infantry was in Bakhmut, where Gerasimov was killing two birds with one stone. Otherwise, the Russians repeatedly herd or lure the hapless Ukrainians into discrete kill zones and then methodically eradicate them by the dozens with a few well-placed FAB-500s — or any other number of remarkably precise and potent killing machines. And they do it day after day after day. And they are content to keep doing it until total collapse inevitably ensues. Then they will march effectively unopposed to the Danube, Transnistria, and whatever strategic depth they conclude is necessary to seize here in this dangerous end-of-empire epoch. It is my long-considered and long-defended position that the purported evidence for massive Russian casualties is fallacious propaganda, including and perhaps especially the BBC/Mediazona legerdemain. At this point in late 2026, I seriously believe the casualty ratio is in the neighborhood of 15:1, and possibly even higher. I know of no other people — not even the most devout Jihadis — that will so stoically resign themselves to their fate, and yet struggle for their lives with the sword to the bitter end. Large swaths of the Ukrainian gene pool have been wiped out, and much has been scattered throughout Europe. The Ukraine will, in course of time, once again be assimilated by pieces into its ancestral homelands. Meanwhile, the US/NATO has been effectively disarmed. And Iran has emerged as the dominant power in West Asia. It is a truly shocking turn of events that has transpired over the last half-decade.

While Heidi was being beaten by settler-terrorists, IDF was about 100 meters away tear-gassing Palestinians and journalists
I just called Washington Post photographer Heidi Levine, who was brutally attacked by violent rioters on Friday. As President of the State of Israel, I strongly condemn this outrageous and shocking violence, both the terrible attack on Heidi and other grave incidents of violence, such as what took place today in Taybeh. I expressed my deepest sorrow to Heidi and apologized for what she went through. The despicable behavior of the perpetrators of this attack does not represent the citizens or the values of the State of Israel. Israel is a democratic state governed by the rule of law, and it must act with full force against every form of violence. Each incident is being thoroughly investigated, and we await the findings. All government, security, and law enforcement authorities must use every means at their disposal to investigate thoroughly, apprehend these lawbreakers, and bring them to justice with the fullest extent of the law. On behalf of the entire nation, I wish Heidi good health and a speedy recovery.
