I loved watching Charlie Kirk’s videos. I always felt like I was transported back to school for a few minutes, getting to think through different arguments and understand topics through active debate - which was so rare these days when not in an echo chamber. One thing you know if you actually watched him, is that it wasn’t him teeing off on anyone who disagreed with him… he was patient and kind to people who approached the debate in the good faith of learning and actually evolving. This hits so hard, especially when stacked on top of the Iryna tragedy that is still so fresh. Lord, please let something good sprout from all this. Because a family lost their dad, a country just lost a brilliant and dedicated fighter, and the world lost someone irreplaceable.
