Peter Cullen has sadly passed away at the age of 85. He is the iconic voice of many characters, including Optimus Prime.

God of War creator David Jaffe: “Here’s the actual uncomfortable truth: Phasing out physical media is not some evil, greedy, illuminati anti-consumer plot. It is just the brutal unavoidable financial reality of an industry trying to survive…when games cost $300M+” “You can see why 3rd-party publishers are not fighting Sony on this, they’re popping Champaign” ▶️ youtu.be/7vVrjS6XT4U?si=PrQg…

We don't enforce any DRM for games and stuff on @itchio. Buy, download, and never connect to the internet again for all we care ✌️

No it wasn't. Last of Us II's sweep in 2020 was a worse robbery.

Uncharted 4 losing GOTY to Overwatch in 2016 is still the biggest robbery in gaming history. I get it, Overwatch was a great game too, but Uncharted 4 is miles ahead. It was so ahead of its time that it could release tomorrow and no one would say it's an outdated game.

Uncharted 4 was way ahead of its time

The game was robbed of the GOTY title.

It's in! Tried it with Aperture Desk Job and aside from gyro not being detected (which is the game's problem, not the controller's), so far so good!

Aside from some errors, ordering the Steam Controller was surprisingly painless. Good job, @Steam and @valvesoftware!

Physical media died on PC some time ago, but it did not spell the end of ownership. DRM-Free should always be an option for the consumer, if not the default, but we take each battle as it comes.
Kabi@KabiPlaysApr 29
When physical game releases die: 1) We'll lose our ability to re-sale. 2) We'll have to abide by policies like the 30-day check-in. 3) If they want us to just rent, we can't do anything about it. 4) No more competitive pricing. Physical media can't die.
