Robinhood Chain is barely a year in the making.
In June 2025, Robinhood turned regular stocks into tokens that trade on a blockchain, and put them on Arbitrum, a chain it did not own. It built a testnet in early 2026, and on July 1, 2026 it launched Robinhood Chain and moved those tokens onto its own chain.
The pattern is simple: a broker went from borrowing someone else's blockchain to running its own. Fast, and on purpose.
