In 5 days Gensler will fade into oblivion having achieved nothing in his entire career. His clown memes will live on though.

This is the vision of @GaryGensler for American crypto startups
One of the most striking charts this year: China’s startup ecosystem has almost completely collapsed in the last 5 years.

It’s simultaneously depressing and funny that there are $ATOM (~$2b current mcap, $12b peak mcap) holders who feel threatened by projects yet to launch ($0 mcap) and related conspiracy theories.

TLDR interpretation: DAO GM trying to get +86% raise in salary funded from the community pool while the price of $ATOM continues to collapse. Did we get it right?
Contributors of the Atom Accelerator DAO are currently voting on a proposal to apply an “Operational Freeze” to Youssef Amrani, Patricia Mizuki and Grace Yu. This temporary measure allows the DAO to traverse the complexity of the current situation, evaluate the accusations made by each party, and then come to a consensus for moving forward. The freeze ensures the DAO continues to operate efficiently in the meantime, and that the three people involved are not able to exert undue influence on the DAO members as they seek to understand and resolve the situation. We recognize that the community is seeking clarifications urgently. Should this proposal pass, the DAO hopes to have concluded its investigation of this situation by next Friday, 20 September 2024, but we urge you to read the proposal linked below to understand the details of the freeze and the next steps. AADAO is an entity owned by the Cosmos Hub. As such, should the community disagree with the DAO’s decision, it has the prerogative to override the decision by an onchain vote on the Cosmos Hub. daodao.zone/dao/neutron1hl98…

there are packs of African wild dogs eating their prey alive in the wild and there are crypto projects with huge supply unlocks and inflation telling retail to buy

What value-add did liquid staking projects funded from the community pool bring for $ATOM? Show me just a single data point it did something good for the ecosystem besides “because DeFi”.

The most disgusting trend on Cosmos chains in recent times was Community Pools being raided to benefit external LSTs who charge double-digit performance fees "because DeFi". CPs originally meant to fund development ended up competing and lowering staking yields for every holder.

All web3/crypto events in France/EU should be boycotted immediately.
Don't let this distract you from the fact that next year's EthCC is in France

With the conclusion of the PILOT sale the $KUJI token basically had nearly 100% of its supply subject to open market price discovery. IYKYK.

Conflict of interest and disclosures are tradfi memes okay?
Re: Transfer of 1M ATOMs from Community Pool to Hydro Committee Decision: HARD NO. Rationale: 1. Undisclosed material conflicts of interest 2. Lack of transparency regarding proposer's employer's stake in $STRD 3. Potential self-dealing to the detriment of community interests Condition for Reconsideration: A comprehensive disclosure statement from @informalinc is mandatory, including but not limited to: 1. Detailed breakdown of Informal Systems' stake in Stride: a. Validator position and rewards b. Token holdings c. Any direct investments 2. Full disclosure of individual investments in Stride by Informal Systems' principals 3. Clear acknowledgment of all potential conflicts of interest 4. If possible, an explanation of how these conflicts will be managed to ensure community benefit. Conclusion: This proposal is categorically rejected in its current form. No reconsideration will be entertained without the aforementioned comprehensive disclosure statement from @informalinc. The integrity of community governance demands disclosure.
