There are a bunch of terrible click bait alarmist accounts who didn’t retweet but paraphrased as a quote to sound more definitive for clicks.
If Argentina were actually serious about this (which they aren't), they'd be massively investing in OWA drones. Milei is happy to do some diplomatic shitposting about the Falklands, but that is far removed from actually attacking British territory and killing people.
A similar kind of attack was attempted in the United States by a drone carrying wires in 2020. Using the law enforcement slides released about it, I geolocated the attack to a substation in Pennsylvania at the time. The perpetrators of that attempted attack were never caught.
Using some OSINT tools I found the site of the unidentified electrical substation which was targeted in a first of its kind attack on the US power grid by a drone last year. @PierreTABC broke the story yesterday by revealing an internal intelligence bulletin describing the attack
The withdrawal of US forces from the Gulf and collapse of the security umbrella they provided is going to cause the Gulf states to scramble for a replacement deterrent. They will likely explore or pursue nuclear weapons development to fill the security void vs Iranian aggression.

The Iranians are not stupid. An unending blockade of their ports in the Gulf is an open-ended invitation for them to figure out tactics to make these deployments more painful and logistics more dangerous for the US Navy, which has to enforce it.
The Navy will get around to doing this right about the same time they launch the Trump-class battleships, which will be never. Could possibly fuck up the delivery schedule of the 3rd Ford-class carrier, the USS Enterprise, though I doubt it.
When the forward-deployed carrier in the Pacific has to go to the Middle East, it's usually because of a contingency, not a scheduled deployment. My entire time out there, I never left PACOM's AOR, but the US is focused on CENTCOM again like it's the early 2000s.

The Navy doesn't really have a choice to change course here. All of these submarines are limited by the nuclear fuel in their power plants. It is an extremely expensive, long, and technical process to extend the life of these types of ships via refueling.
