If combat would kill both units at a BF, you can kill the recruit with Mordekaiser’s effect first and save Morde. The effect triggers while the Recruit is still alive. Pre-rift shenanigans ✍️

With all due respect, this is a @riftboundop Regional Championship. We want to see the best players giving 100% and bringing the strongest decks to win, not people playing random Legends just to make some money from Best-of. If everyone plays Kennen and/or Riven and they end up getting banned, that's a good thing. In my opinion, it'll shake up the meta and give other Legends a chance to shine.

We were hiding all the problems with riftbound's metagame through the Best-Of prizing system. You're about to see all the bannable cards and you'll be seeing them every round on stream. No rumble v leona fun matches, 40 leaders are banned out of the game. Enjoy what you created.

In the Vendetta season western RQs we had 8 different decks making top8, 12 different decks making top16 and probably double that in top64. One "rouge" deck even won an RQ! If you believe that we are about to have a "3-deck meta" you're certainly on the more delusional side!

Although I’m not playing the rc, I think these changes are great for the biggest and most competitive event we’ve had. We’ll finally see the real meta and the best players on the best decks, which is awesome. Much better for competitive integrity and for viewers too.

Good change at last, hopefully they will also remove the best-of cards for next year, so we'll have competitive tournaments based on winning, instead of actual meta trying to end rank 600 for a metal card.
