We’re going to be late!
*I darted through the house frantically in order to make sure we had everything we needed. The twins were dressed up and ready to go (minus shoes) and my boys looked like they were ready to walk out of the door, too.*

~ about to offer me the front seat, but before he could I was already shaking my head and climbing into the back.*
You take the front and I’ll manage the back with the kids.
*Finally...finally we made it onto the road to drive just the few minutes over ~
~ to Ali’s house, walking through the door without knocking and getting our kids sat at the smaller table and then hurrying into the dining hall just in time to watch @RoyalBloodLust threaten everyone with a turkey carving knife.*
*My mouth and throat felt dry, as if I hadn’t had a drop to drink in days, and I had no idea how I had managed to scream at @ADevilByName to stop. I could feel @StaysInTrouble relax next to me, but I could feel him in a way different than I could before. I ~
~ and I didn’t know what else to do so I sort of...you know, gave him my soul? *I crawled over away from @StaysInTrouble and towards @ADevilByName, bringing my hands up and putting one on either side of his face, leaning in to rest my forehead against his* I ~

*Dying...it didn’t hurt as much as I thought it would, and there wasn’t much past the whole going dark part. I was caught somewhere between conscious and unconscious, floating weightlessly in a beautiful darkness. There wasn’t any pain, there wasn’t any...~
