My thoughts after Mozeliak's presser today:
- KSE is going to start pulling the strings now even before Kroenke officially takes the helm in early 2027.
- Trout is going to move to LF & DH more...finally 🙌🏼
Thats about it. Mozeliak and Kurt's status remain unknown with answers to come after tonights meeting with Kevin Demoff.

John Mozeliak is confident in Kurt Suzuki as the manager for the Angels.
He said at this time the decision for Suzuki’s future isn’t fully within his control, but he praised Suzuki’s job as a first time manager given the difficult place the Angels were in this season

John Mozeliak said that his contract with the Angels isn’t his top priority right now. He also added that research for a future GM has been placed on pause as the ownership change goes forward.
He added that he’s spoken with both Moreno and Kroenke’s team in recent days

Update after Angels coverage in the OCR the last two days was covered by the AP: Jeff Fletcher’s colleague @brokos says, “I have been in contact with Jeff. Nothing to worry about.” And adds, “He will be at the stadium on Monday.”
Some personal news...
In just a couple days, I’ll be moving to Idaho.
This has been a possibility for a little over a year, but now that it’s actually here, it’s definitely bittersweet.
SoCal has been home for all but seven months of my 25 years. I’ve always been no more than an hour from Angel Stadium. Now, I’ll be about 14 hours away with the closest stadium now being in Seattle about 7.5 hours from where I'll be.
The hardest part has been saying goodbye to extended family and leaving a place that has always been home. But with my sister getting married last month and starting the next chapter of her life in Idaho, keeping our immediate family close together became incredibly important to us.
As difficult as it is to leave, I’m excited for what’s ahead. I’m looking at this as a fresh start, a reset and a new beginning. A chance to make some changes in my life, grow as a person and hopefully change my life for the better.
Don’t worry, InsideHalos isn’t going anywhere.
In fact, there are some exciting things in the works for the Inside brand this offseason that I can’t wait to get moving on once I’m settled into the new place.
I may be a little farther from the Big A, and an hour ahead now, but I’ll still be covering this team every step of the way. 😇
