After setting up our symposium, I’m just waiting for it to start! It’s from 1-3pm in the student union! Stop by!
What NOT to say at the end of a video promoting what we're learning this week to students!!!!
An old, tired mind says some crazy stuff sometimes! But no worries, I cut it from the student version! ha!
You know the transition from researcher to administration is complete when you happily clean out one of your labs for another scientist!! Not going to lie, it's a little strange ... but I'm so excited to build our new BS in Entomology!
Do you want to take a closer look at insects??? Use professional equipment like a real entomologist! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!
disclaimer: not real, it's a joke, please don't try to order Bugcams!!
We have a Virtual Event tonight to kick off our new BS in Entomology!! It's from 7:00-7:30 tonight (CST) and is just a fun intro to our Department here at K-State (link in comments).
It's titled: Entomology, it's not what you think
Here's a short promo video!!
Here's the link to the event!

Another URE symposium in the books!! And this one just felt extra special. The hallway was BUZZING with conversation, pun intended. Awesome job, students! Mentors, you rock. And @InsectFusion? Well, you outdid yourself once again. @ChuckTaberKSU @KStateVPR @ErnieMinton @KStateRE
Flight of the symposium! Posters are hung and the New Order will arise soon ... like around 3pm, although people are usually kinda slow at arriving so maybe like 3:30ish, but please come at 3pm so the New Order can start as soon as possible! 🤓😂😉
Creative problem solving in action!!! The duo of Drs. Phillips and Marshall strike again!!!! Btw, it’s the boxes cut in half to make anchors for the bottom of the posters!!!!
Got the posters!!!! @FedEx really came through with a great deal, exceptionally friendly service, and an amazingly quick turn around!!! I appreciate your help and our student symposium wouldn’t be possible without you!!!!
