good afternoon from one of my favorite parks: we lived closest to this park when our boys were little-good memories! fortunately, it's only a 15 minute drive now, & is a lovely place to walk, connect w nature, & just BE..I get over here at least once a week right now 馃挋

coldest day of the season so far & gusting winds: not ideal for blooms, yet tenacity & beauty all around, flower-wind dance divine! in spite of the wind, we have flowers here in southern part of the state year-round (hardy types like petunias, pansies etc)

hi, i just watched my husband spend over *2 hours* tending to our son's almost 8 year old slowly dying ferret, upon arriving home from a full, exhausting day at work, on top of other life things..
this *tenderness & devotion expressed in so many ways, big & small* has inspired me to work on a list of things I have witnessed & experienced in my 45 years (time is both real & unreal, friends, a paradox sacred & profane, as are we) that indicate the man in front of you is embodying the call of mature masculine stewardship & care, even with his "pain points & imperfections" or whatever we are calling it on a given day....
even as the whirled world attempts to cast hate spells of shame & contempt on the very men who sustain so much of the infrastructure that we have come to rely on, these men keep going from a heart rooted in Love & Discernment...
more soon
