This night I did not sleep in my bed and hid in the bathroom during Russian missile strikes, hoping they would not reach my home. I could hear the windows shaking and found myself checking whether they would hold. I was also texting friends, trying to understand who was safe, because it felt like half the city was on fire.
Russia is now launching more ballistic missiles at Ukraine each month than global production of Patriot interceptors can replace. The result is a growing gap between the scale of the threat and the capacity to defend against it, with direct consequences for civilian survival.
Ukraine has already secured future Patriot deliveries, but they will not arrive until next year. Our partners can close this gap now by temporarily transferring interceptors from existing stockpiles and replenishing them once deliveries begin. This is not an easy decision, but it is one that can prevent hundreds of civilian deaths
Yesterday, Pride was held in Kyiv. More than 5,000 people demonstrated demanding recognition of their families.
This was the first Pride to take place right during the russian attack on Kyiv. Unfortunately, the event was interrupted by the explosions. But this definitely shows how brave Ukrainians and the Ukrainian LGBT community are.
Russia presents itself as a defender of Orthodoxy and âtraditional valuesâ.
Yet one of the most iconic Christian sites in Ukraine â the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the spiritual heart of Eastern Slavic Christianity â is on fire after a direct Russian missile strike.
Russia claims Kyiv as the cradle of its civilization and Orthodox tradition, yet its missiles are destroying the very heritage it says it is defending.
Children dancing in a metro shelter during an air raid in Ukraine.
They grow up between sirens and underground stations instead of playgrounds. Even here, they try to keep pieces of childhood alive.
Russia set a new absolute record: 1,428 drones launched against Ukraine in just 24 hours.
Over May 13â14, Russia used 1,567 drones and 56 missiles. Ukraine intercepted 94% of the drones and 73% of the missiles.
Compensation for what wasnât expended during the so-called âceasefireâ.

đŽ BREAKING: One person has been reported killed, and 16 others injured, as a result of the massive Russian attack on Kyiv overnight.
Six more were injured in the surrounding region. Search and rescue operations are still ongoing.
Congratulations @magyarpeterMP and the Tisza team on your victory in Hungaryâs parliamentary election. Wishing you strength and success in delivering real reforms and results. Ukraine values Hungaryâs pro-European course and looks forward to deeper cooperation.
According to The Jerusalem Post, Russian intelligence reportedly gave Iran a list of 55 critical energy sites in Israel for precision strikes. This is the Kremlin approach, Ukraine has lived it for years.
Easing oil restrictions isnât an option. Itâs oxygen for the war machine that spreads this terror. Russia funds terror and helps Iran target the U.S. and its allies. Itâs time to tighten sanctions, cut the oil money, and make it clear that exporting Kremlin tactics comes with a price.
Russia is already waging a hybrid war against Europe, and itâs unclear why Europe isnât responding.
Youâre dealing with a bully and hope to pacify him by ignoring his attacks, but it doesnât work like that. Until Russia is pushed back, it will keep testing the limits of whatâs allowed. Europe sets that line.
Europe isnât lacking information about what Russia is doing. Europe is lacking the will to act.
The evidence is public and piling up: sabotage, cyberattacks, airspace violations, maritime intrusions. The âEverywhere Warâ tracker maps verified open-source incidents across 30+ countries since 2022: sahasec.org/tracker/
As a Ukrainian MP, Iâll ask it plainly: do you really think ignoring an attack makes it stop? It only teaches Moscow it can do more.
While everyone is talking about Iran, Russia keeps doing what it has been doing for years: killing Ukrainians and destroying our country. The drone waves havenât stopped. Ballistic strikes are happening almost every night. People are dying.
And Washingtonâs answer is a 30-day waiver for Russian oil. So âmaximum pressureâ has exceptions when gas prices matter.
Lviv is about 60 km from the EU/NATO border with Poland. In broad daylight, as people were coming home from work, a Russian Shahed hit a residential building in the city center. New waves of drones are still coming in.
This is how Russia tries to make normal life impossible. We donât need pity. We need the tools to stop it.
Just unpacking it here.
Ukraine is helping us with Iranian drones, resulting from the war we launched against Iran.
And we're easing sanctions on Russia because of the oil market fallout from the war we launched against Iran.
And Russia is helping Iran with medical aid and intel, in the war we launched against Iran.
And Trump is frustrated with Ukraine because it's still at war with Russia.
While Russian intelligence helps the Iranian regime kill U.S. troops, the White House is moving to temporarily lift sanctions restrictions on Russian oil.
To fight one dictatorship, this administration is choosing to give breathing room to another â one that has been killing Ukrainians for 12 years.
How many ukrainian lives is âstable fuel pricesâ worth?
Our strongest cards are Ukraineâs real experience of modern warfare and the technologies we build ourselves, from scratch.
Theyâre used every day. They meet this war in real time, work where it matters most, and have passed the only test that counts: the battlefield.
Weâre building capabilities the world now needs, and weâre ready to share what works with our partners.
Hi @FoxNews â small clarification.
We appreciate that international media such as FOX News highlight the effective work of interceptor drones. The footage shown in this segment features STING â a Ukrainian interceptor drone developed by engineers at Wild Hornets and used by Ukrainian air defense units to destroy Shahed-type drones.
This result is the outcome of a long and difficult path taken by Wild Hornets engineers together with Ukrainian soldiers, and we would be grateful if these achievements remained properly credited.
We also deeply appreciate all the support we receive and are very grateful for the trust people place in our work.
You can see more interception footage and feedback from Ukrainian soldiers on our page.

âFor free to Ukraine?â
Ukraine gave up the worldâs third-largest nuclear arsenal under the Budapest Memorandum in exchange for security assurances from the U.S., the U.K., and Russia. One signatory invaded. Others chose to forget their obligations, or to meet them only selectively.
Itâs cynical to ask a country to give up its deterrent and then frame support as âfree weaponsâ, as if Ukraine is asking for charity. Weâre paying in blood for security assurances that were signed and never honored.
WH @PressSec Karoline Leavitt: âUnfortunately, we had a very stupid and incompetent leader in this White House for four years who gave away many of our best weapons for nothing, for free to another country very far away by the name of Ukraine.â

Congress authorized Ukraine aid; it wasn't "given away." Most transfers were older stocks, while replacement funds were used to modernize US arsenals. Advanced assets like JASSM-ER and PrSM missiles were withheld to maintain US superiority and readiness.

This winter was the hardest of the full-scale invasion. Not just hours, but days without electricity. Without heat, without water, without anything close to a normal life. But we endured.
Itâs getting warmer now, you can feel spring coming. As @TarasChmut put it, we won the battle for winter. And for the first time in a long while, we have started to liberate our territories again.
We know there are more battles ahead. And we believe there will be more victories too.
A single shot of a Patriot PAC-3 MSE interceptor, according to open-source estimates, costs about $4 million. The UAE often fired two missiles per target (âensure-to-kill doctrineâ). They faced 165 ballistic missiles: if you count $8 million per target and about 152 intercepts, that comes to roughly $1.2â1.4 billion spent on ballistic defense alone.
That is extremely expensive even for the Emirates. Meanwhile, Iran spent an estimated $360 million on the entire raid (there were 541 Shaheds and 2 cruise missiles). They cheaply burned through air-defense stockpiles for years ahead.
Ukraine is in its fifth year of this war. We know how to counter cheap drones cheaply. Weâre ready to share what works with allies to strengthen our collective air defense.
Figures above reflect Ukrainian analystsâ calculations based on open sources.
Ukraine has hard-earned, real-world expertise in modern warfare and battlefield technology.
For five years, weâve been intercepting Iranian-made Shahed drones and Russian UAVs. For years, we warned the world about this threat, long before it became everyoneâs problem.
Weâre ready to share what works and what doesnât with partners who want to strengthen their air defence.
