Dear Muslims, Please stop demanding halal options from Japan. We simply don’t want to eat that way. There are 50+ Muslim-majority countries where halal food is readily available. Surely, those countries are much closer and more suitable than this island nation surrounded by a distant sea. Many Japanese people love pork, and plenty of us enjoy alcohol too. Honestly, Japan may not be the best fit for everyone. Please understand that coming to another country doesn’t mean all your preferences will automatically be accommodated. Think carefully about whether Japan is right for you before you come.
