"We should (have) some sympathy for the poor Russian conscripts too. Those kids have no choice but to fight and die in drone strikes." 🤬🤬🤬🤬 #RussiaIsATerroristState
Russian ballistic missiles struck the grounds of a university in Kyiv and the area around it – effectively the campus, Kyoto Park, the area near a metro station, and residential buildings. The exact number of casualties is not yet known. But tragically, there are victims. There are people injured. Rescue operations are underway. There is extensive damage, and there are also reports that people may be trapped under the rubble. All emergency services are at the scene and doing their work – saving lives. The missiles hit very crowded areas, and there is not a single military facility nearby. This was a strike directly on the city, on its infrastructure. Unfortunately, there may be more strikes coming. The attack with “shaheds” is also continuing – against Kyiv and our other cities and communities. And it is precisely under such circumstances, when the threat is constant, when strikes can come at any moment and target cities and villages directly, that artificial delays in providing air defense to Ukraine help terror. It is important that political agreements be implemented promptly at the team level. It is important that our partners understand that Ukraine needs the proper tools to destroy Russian ballistic missile launchers. This would be the most effective way to save lives. It is important that the world sees that Russia is showing nothing but a desire to kill and continue waging war. Ukraine must not be left to face this alone, and it is solely Russia’s fault that the war is still going on and people are still dying. Please take care of yourselves. All partners should stand with Ukraine – with the protection of lives.

Congrats Serbia ✊ 💃🥳💃 Cheers! 🍾🥂
1/ 🇷🇸🇷🇺 Vučić just lost Serbia. russia’s most useful Balkan ally called a snap election to cling to power. Students who spent 2 yrs in the streets crushed him. Moscow spent a decade buying influence with cheap gas & political cover. Europe didn't oust him. Serbians did.

Once again, I live in Ukraine, and I have never met a soldier or a civilian who is fighting for Zelenskyy. Ukrainians resist because our country was invaded, because russian occupation means kidnapped children, executed civilians, torture chambers, mass graves, rape, and looting. Our soldiers defend their families, their culture, their civilians, and their future, not the president.

Today, another Russian smear campaign is trying to pretend that Ukraine, or Zelenskyy personally, rejected a good "peace deal" in Istanbul in 2022. The "peace plan" in question included strict limitations on the Ukrainian armed forces, rendering them harmless and defenseless. No alliances were allowed. It also included security guarantees, but with a funny kicker: Russia demanded that triggering these security guarantees required the unanimous agreement of all guarantor states, including Russia itself. In other words, Ukraine was supposed to disarm almost completely, after which Russia could attack again and just block Ukraine from receiving any military aid. Comfy, right? The "peace deal" proposed in Istanbul was, in fact, a "disarm and let Russia slaughter us" deal. The full details are public by now. Research it yourself and don't fall for the propaganda.

["That was their mistake. They didn't even realize there would be resistance. That was their main mistake. That's it."]
Ukraine is not Russia. That's Putin’s problem – refusing to recognize a separate nation, refusing to recognize a separate country – that's what did him in. He was shown a military operation that was supposed to take three days. We found parade uniforms in their various military vehicles. They were literally marching to a parade. He still doesn't understand and doesn't want to admit that this is a different nation, a different people. They were advancing on Kyiv from all directions. Their main goal was to seize the capital of Ukraine. They reached Kyiv. They trapped us, and then we started hammering them, and they didn't know what to do about it. They were especially shocked when they drove toward the capital and people were just throwing burning mixtures. People were setting their armor on fire. It wasn't a matter of some general being an idiot. I believe the one who gave the order just didn't fully realize what was happening. Because what does taking Kyiv mean? When you've taken those towns on the way to Kyiv, you have to leave troops behind to hold those towns. And that takes a huge number of people. It's a pretty large territory. If the people inside offer resistance, then you need an army to hold every town. That was their mistake. They didn't even realize there would be resistance. That was their main mistake. That's it. It’s now officially confirmed. Tonight, russia struck Kyiv’s historic centre with an Iskander ballistic missile carrying a cluster warhead. 58 submunitions explode in mid-air, designed to inflict maximum casualties across a 400 × 400 metre area. “This strike had no military purpose. The goal was to destroy part of the old city and injure as many people as possible,” said a Ukrainian presidential adviser. No military objective. Just terror.

So, russian “humanitarians” attacked Kyiv’s historic center overnight with an Iskander ballistic missile reportedly carrying a cluster warhead. According to Ukrainian military expert Serhii “Flash,” the warhead is designed to detonate above the ground, scattering 58 explosive submunitions across an area of 400 by 400 meters. So, a weapon designed to spread destruction over a massive area, fired into the heart of a city where civilians live. And just yesterday, we had to listen to Putin being called a “humanitarian.”
