🌿 The Garden Chronicles 🏡 Chapter: The House That Love Built — Part 1 Something exciting has been happening in our little Arizona backyard! What started as gravel, metal framing, and two determined humans has become a greenhouse filled with second chances, new beginnings, and a whole lot of personality. 💚 🍎 Blossom moved in and immediately claimed her spot. 🌸 Pinky arrived flowering and announced, “Lovely place, but where’s the air conditioning?” 🌶️ Susie & Phil, formerly the Bathroom Peppers, finally graduated to greenhouse living. 🌶️ The Drama Peppers remain in the nursery. Naturally, they’re demanding upgraded accommodations. 🥑 Miss Ava continues her incredible comeback indoors, growing beautiful new leaves after everything she’s survived. But our greenhouse story is just getting started… 🌱 To be continued in Part 2! #TheGardenChronicles #GreenhouseLife #ArizonaGardening

The Avocado Named Ava In a quiet home in the desert city of Tucson, where warm winds drifted through open doors and sunlight painted golden shapes across the floor, something small began to grow. At first, Ava was only a seed. A single avocado pit suspended above a cup of water by four crooked toothpicks. Most people would have passed by without noticing her, but not here. Here, she had a name. And names mattered. Every morning Ava stretched a little taller toward the light pouring through the windows. Her stem turned deep reddish-brown like polished cedar wood, thin but determined. Tiny green leaves unfurled at the top like little flags announcing: “I am alive.” The humans watched her carefully. Sometimes they rotated her cup so she could grow straighter. Sometimes they whispered encouragement while changing her water. Once, they even gave her a strange magical drink made from banana peel water. After that, Ava seemed to grow almost overnight. Soon she towered above her white ceramic cup like a tiny tree from another world. But Ava was not alone. Outside, on the shaded patio protected from the fierce Arizona sun, lived another plant named Blossom. Blossom had once lost all her leaves during a hard season. For a while she looked tired and fragile, little more than a thin stem tied gently to a support stake. But deep inside, Blossom had not given up. Small green leaves slowly returned at the top of her branches, one by one, until she stood proudly again in her large planter beside the tiny Bell Pepper Forest — a cluster of brave little green sprouts packed tightly together like a village preparing for adventure. Two tiny yellow duck guardians watched over them all from the soil. No one knew exactly why the ducks were there. But somehow the garden felt safer because of them. One warm morning, Ava was carried outside for the first time. The desert air wrapped around her leaves. The sunlight felt different here — brighter, sharper, alive. She trembled slightly in her water cup as the wind brushed past her thin stem. Blossom noticed immediately. “New here?” Blossom asked softly. Ava nodded nervously. “I used to live by the window.” The Bell Pepper Forest rustled excitedly. “OUTSIDE! OUTSIDE! OUTSIDE!” they shouted all at once. Blossom laughed quietly. “Don’t mind them. They get excited about everything.” Days passed. Ava spent longer and longer outside in the warm desert shade. Her leaves strengthened. Her roots stretched through the water like pale white ribbons searching for something deeper. Then came The Transplant. The humans prepared a great round planter filled with fresh soil. The earth was turned carefully by hand to loosen it for new roots. A support stake was placed beside the center like a future guidepost. Ava could feel something changing. The ducks watched silently. The Bell Pepper Forest whispered nervously among themselves. Even Blossom seemed unusually quiet. At sunset, the humans lifted Ava gently from her water world. For the first time in her life, her roots touched soil. And deep beneath the desert patio, something ancient seemed to awaken.

🌿 The Garden Chronicles 🏡 The House That Love Built — Part 2 Eight tiny seeds have joined our garden family! 🌱 Permanent Marker and Granddaddy Purple have already made their grand entrances, while six others are taking their sweet time. And we have an unexpected resident… 🕷️ Webster! Our little spider has been here since construction began. After three relocations, he’s finally claimed the perfect spot above the plants. His official title? Head of Pest Control. His rent? Absolutely free. 😂 Meanwhile, the humans have been battling the Arizona heat with exhaust fans, shade cloth, and cooling experiments. A little water and mist dropped the temperature from 94°F to 87°F! The automatic misting system is next. It’s not just a greenhouse anymore. It’s a home for second chances, new beginnings, and one very busy spider. 💚 🌸 Pinky’s final thoughts? “I still think we need air conditioning.” To be continued… 🌱 #TheGardenChronicles #GreenhouseLife #GardenFamily

Before there were plants, before there were fans, and before the greenhouse was even finished, Webster had already moved in. The humans thought they were building a greenhouse. Webster thought they were building him a mansion.🕸️

☀️ GM from the desert! 🌵☕🛹 Coffee down, smoked a bowl, already had a meeting this morning, and we’re ready to roll! Been outside sawing big branches off trees, trimming everything back, and stacking up piles. Greenhouse is going up, the yard is coming together, and we’re about to get back outside while the weather’s nice. It’s finally cooling off here in the desert! Yesterday I had another great conversation with my new friend from the city. Retired teacher, involved with managing city land, and apparently he’d just been talking with the mayor. We’ve been cleaning up the neighborhood islands, and the city’s waste management crew is coming Monday to haul away the debris we’ve been piling up. He’s also working on connecting me with people in our ward so we can start turning these neglected spaces into something the neighborhood can actually enjoy. We even got talking about the roads and getting some smoother pavement out here for skating. Apparently, improvements are on the way. 👀🛹 Meanwhile… 🎮 SHRUNK is getting dialed in. We’ve got physical skatepark pieces to test, designs to work through, and a whole lot more happening behind the scenes. 🏜️ WANDER… Oh man. You need to see where this one’s going. 🏠 ONE HOME is getting another big push. We’re working toward getting the latest updates out today, and I can’t wait for everyone to see how it’s coming together. 🛹 Had a great meeting this morning about bringing skateboarding into schools through PE programs. More conversations, more connections, more opportunities to help kids discover something new. 🌱 Greenhouse going up, seeds ready, trees getting cleaned up, projects moving, and people connecting. And that’s just what’s happening around the house! October is starting to connect a whole lot of dots. And we’re barely getting started. I hope you’ve been following along, because all these things I’ve been talking about aren’t just random projects. They’re pieces of something much bigger. And yes, we’ve still got some Founder spots available. I’m not here trying to sell you something every morning. I’m telling you there are a lot of ways to participate in what we’re building, and most of them don’t cost a dime. Pay attention. Ask questions. Do your own research. I definitely have. And I’m putting what I’ve learned to work every single day. We’re not just talking about building something anymore. We’re out here doing it. Welcome Home. 🏠🌵 Rare | Dood Labs doodlabs.app #GM #WelcomeHome #DoodLabs #OneHome #SHRUNK #WANDER #Skateboarding #Tucson #CommunityFirst #BuildInPublic

Chief asked me to write this down instead of making a video, so I figured I’d just put it out here in the wild. Maybe somebody else can use it too. I’ve spent years researching this, changing things, trying different products and figuring out what actually works for our household. We even took the smoothie setup to a nutritionist years ago while trying to figure some things out with the wife. The only thing they suggested we add at the time was fish oil. This isn’t medical advice and everybody is different. Talk to your doctor and pay attention to your own body. Some people in our family need something as simple as a string cheese before we even take a morning walk. I can personally fast until around noon, drink my smoothie, have dinner around 4–6 and generally be finished eating by 8. That’s me—not a rule for everybody. THE SMOOTHIE — ONE 9-CUP BLENDER 🍌 1 banana — peel it 🥝 1 whole kiwi — skin ON; wash it and trim the ends 🍊 ½ can frozen orange-juice concentrate 🫐 Frozen fruit until it’s the flavor/thickness you want — I like mango + strawberry + blueberry/mixed berries 🥛 ¼ cup vanilla Greek yogurt 🍯 Raw honey to taste 🌱 3 tbsp flaxseed 🌱 3 tbsp chia seeds 💧 Water as needed up to the blender’s safe fill line That gives us roughly three 3-cup portions. OUR STACK: ⚡ Momentous Creatine 🦴 Momentous Collagen Peptides 🥬 Nested Naturals Super Greens 💧 Cure Electrolytes 💪 Optimum Nutrition Platinum HydroWhey when additional protein is needed 🐟 Fish oil separately For the supplements, follow the manufacturer’s label for one individual serving per person. Don’t assume every scoop from every product is interchangeable. For five people, we simply make two blender batches. That’s about six portions. Everybody gets fed and there’s a little extra for whoever wants it. For us, one of these smoothies is incredibly filling and can carry us through most or all of the day. If you’re hungry, though, eat. The point isn’t starving yourself. Have a good family dinner, get enough protein and give your body what it needs. And then there is probably the cheapest thing on this entire list: WALK. Don’t worry about somebody else’s 5-mile walk or 10,000 steps. If you can walk a mile, walk a mile. If you can walk one block, walk one block. If today you can only make it to the end of the driveway and back, start there. Just start. If you’ve got 30 minutes, walk for 30 minutes. If you’ve got an hour and your body is ready for it, take the hour. Get outside. Get some daylight and move your body. Sunlight also helps your body produce vitamin D, and regular outdoor time has benefits beyond exercise. Then tomorrow, do it again. Eventually that driveway can become a block, the block becomes a mile, and the mile becomes whatever you’re capable of. You don’t have to buy everything here tomorrow either. Some of this stuff has gotten expensive. Get what you can when you can. Start with the basics and build from there. Drink more water. Eat real food. Prioritize protein. Move every day. Cut way back on soda, added sugar and highly processed junk. Sleep. Get outside. Consistency beats trying to completely change your life on Monday and quitting by Thursday. And if somebody takes this, turns it into a product and starts making money off it, at least give me a little credit 😂. I put a lot of research and years of real-world trial into getting ours here. @Stro4Chiefs — there you go. I finally wrote the damn thing down. 😂 And on the other thing I owe you: I haven’t had time to sit down and put it together yet. I’ve been buried in Duckyverse and a few other builds. I’m hoping to get into it this evening; if not, I’ll get it handled this week.🤙

Well, our seed shipment showed up today — and apparently we got a few surprise auto clones thrown in too. 😂 So I guess the timing is right. The greenhouse should be going up later, and we’re getting ready to start growing more of our own stuff at home. 🍅 Tomatoes 🫑 Bell peppers 🌿 Fresh herbs 🥬 Greens 🌱 A few other things we regularly use around here Some of it will end up on the dinner table, some in the smoothies, and some of those herbs and peppers will definitely find their way into our oils and cooking. And yes, we’ll have a few other Arizona-legal plants in the greenhouse too. 😎🌱 I actually went back and checked the current Arizona rules today: adults 21+ can grow up to 6 plants for personal use at their primary residence, with a maximum of 12 at a home with two or more adults 21+. They have to be secured from minors and out of public view. That’s another reason we’re doing the greenhouse right. Between the garden, the smoothies, walking every day, making more of our food ourselves, and simply getting outside in the sun, we’re trying to make the healthy stuff part of normal life instead of some temporary program. You don’t have to change everything tomorrow. Plant one tomato. Walk one block. Make one better meal. Drink some water. Just start somewhere. Welcome Home. 🏡🌱
