Here is the typical Astra game, seriously.
I dunno if I'm doing this GPT-6 Astra thing right guys. So I basically told it to make a game like Soul Calibur 6. I gave it this image, put it on Astra High, gave it 20% of my weekly, gave it Blender MCP, AutoRigPro, FAL, Tripo, Elevenlabs and all I got was this. My only requirement was it needs to be browser based. Was it too ambitious?
It's stupid because right now if you're skilled but just honest about what you don't know, you'll probably get a job.
But I feel like some dumb guy who just says he can make threejs sites with AI will get no questions asked, but then everyone is going to do that.
Check out my little cool music player with little sprite people. the gnome lives in the titlebar and the alien patrols the search bar. The plants rn suck but I'm learning what works there and what doesn't. He only comes out when you click/knock on his door lol
AI is amazing... for anyone already established in a job, especially in AI.
For the rest of us, not so much.
The only thing we were getting out of all these high prices was good AI and now they just took that away too 🇺🇲
If games were actually still on the disc, it would force them to not have bugs on day 1. At least a lot less than now.
I feel like people ran out of ideas for fun stuff to build just because it's almost impossible to build that stuff without a literal 100 person team.
We don't even try to think anymore bc it's impossible for us to make it, so we leave the ideas up to everyone else.

I would be up for them pausing AI and letting GPU prices go down, but I have a feeling they didn't mean to pause the hardware sucking-up side of things.
