Serious request to bikers.
I know you can ride & isolate, but before you do & before you see the empty roads & go mad, think about the NHS.
I will always try to ride and do so safely.
Some might think it’s a good time for a blast.
If you crash you’ll tie up vital resources

You are all contributing to the death of another elderly or vulnerable person in our country, you absolutely selfish mother fuckers.
People are risking their own lives to save people and then there is the absolute shower of shit...
I AM SO MAD.
Get the fuck home and stay there.

⚠️ Very concerned at the number of people coming to Cornwall for a holiday to self-isolate. We have ONE HOSPITAL for the whole of the county & are already stretched. An influx of people here will compromise every aspect of the system.
PLEASE heed advice and stay away. 🙏

I hope their response is to support training drivers rather than unnecessary speed limit reductions. Most drivers never receive sufficient training on these roads, is it a surprise there are more accidents. #iamroadsmart @iam_roadsmart can play a big part in the training.
Country roads account for approximately 60% of all fatalities on Scotland’s roads. @RoadSafetyScot has launched a campaign to reduce the number of fatalities on country roads.
