Still think my favorite #DisneyInfinity 1.0 figure was the crystal Lighting McQueen. Love the chaos at @ToysRUs trying to find them, and just the mystery with those ToysRUs exclusive power disc packs. Good times!

FIVE YEARS ago today! #DisneyInfinity was first released in stores. Will always love you Disney Infinity!

One Peter Pan figure has a broken feather. One Peter Pan is playing limbo. Other three are just generally dirty, but should be able to clean them up! Still very, very cool. instagram.com/p/BeqM0oSlL-z #DisneyInfinity – at Pennsylvania, USA

My Peter Pan #DisneyInfinity figures are here from China. Hope they're okay!!! 😬😬😬 instagram.com/p/BeqLaUkF12r/ – at Pennsylvania, USA

When I get mine, I'm curious what the actual NFC chip reads as (what data is stored on it, and see if it is comparable to the other #DisneyInfinity figures)

So if you want to take a gamble on getting a Peter Pan figure (that doesn't work), you can order them here: aliexpress.com/store/product… Even if it's not legit... it's still pretty cool right? #DisneyInfinity

So are these 'legit'? Probably! No-one is faking that many of them right? One of the distributors probably just threw them out, or just made a side deal to a vendor for some money and that person listed them online. I've seen that many times before.

Then last day or so, word started spreading of various chinese retailers offering a LOT of them (and I mean potentially a 1,000 of them). As you can see in this picture. All fully painted, with chips inside the base. Now this was interesting.

Earlier this week, @Joey_Dieterlen sent me a DM to an ebay listing them for $175+ a piece. But they included the chip (which obviously doesn't work). But I was intrigued, but figured could still just be an easy fake. Link: ebay.com/itm/302586435989?ul…

I actually own one, a chipless Baloo #DisneyInfinity figure that's missing a bunch of paint features. Is it a real prototype? Perhaps, but easily can be re-created/3D printed. The Funko scene is FLOODED with fake 'prototypes', but it's still cool to have one.

Alright, time to talk about the Peter Pan #DisneyInfinity figure that's blown up in the last week... Let's start even 6+ months ago when more 'prototype' #DisneyInfinity figures showed up on ebay.

ICYMI: @Walmart revealed a map showing unique items in the TOP 25 items sold in each state at Walmart.com in 2017. Notice Tennessee? #DisneyInfinity power discs! Crazy it's one of the top 25 items sold in that state! corporate.walmart.com/photos… (h/t @infinirama616 !!)

Also, one of my favorite #DisneyInfinity figure packs of all time, the Race to Space pack, is on sale for $1.97. That's a no brainer! Link: toysrus.com/product?productI…
