I remember the whip lash I felt when I first played it. I don't think there's anything quite like Keith Courage in Alpha Zones. I certainly recommend people to give it a try!
Still I feel like previous criticisms at least had some grounding in facts. Most of what I'm hearing lately seems to be feelings based personal issues rather then objective issues with the work. For example Lament was criticized for repetitive environment design, changing Dracula to Mathias rather then Vlad and not having Dracula as the final boss. Mostly people found the combat to be good. In fact that combat was a major inspiration for God of War the creator said as much.

Holo mouth when you need a mouth to convey your feelings but you don't have one anymore because your a chrome junkie.
It seems more towards the psychological and at least for the first two episode it's feels much more experimental then the previous Edgerunners which I like personally.
That and it would have been nice if they had just released one episode a week like they are doing with Ranma then we wouldn't have this problem, and we could talk about the individual episodes. Oh well.
I getcha I hate spoilers so I won't be saying much beyond she's cute and here's some cute pics of her. Only seen the first two episodes so far. But I like the direction of it very different then the first one.

I actually got this right when Carmilla died it's pretty neat tho. This was my favorite boss fight in the game so far I like the concept, and the arena and the boss itself!
