Turns out eventually is a few days ago. I'll be around from time to time to tell people I'm not around but otherwise you won't find me here. Follow me over there for brightly-coloured nonsense: @hockeyviz.com

One wonderful thing you can do with your money is give some of it to me every month, by subscribing to my frankly excellent website, hockeyviz.com/subscribe. This is wonderful in two ways: I get your money, you get beautiful understanding of hockey. This thread has some details!

Administrative postscript: If you use the "login with twitter" method for accessing your HockeyViz sub: the engineers at twitter have been playing silly buggers with the auth flow recently, and there is a workaround if you encounter trouble. Email/DM me or ask in the discord.
Happy new hockey season! I am putting out stuff daily over on the other site, where things are better. If you miss what the hockey conversations used to be like On Here way back when, you'll find the vibe is a lot better Over There now.
In particular, if you've been thinking about turning over a new leaf (or you've tried before and bounced off) you might find this starter pack of hockey folks helpful: bsky.app/starter-pack/markla…

I'll be answering questions on bluesky (and reddit/discord/&c.) for folks who are curious or just want to yell at me.
