My early @Disneyland "Indiana Jones" sketch explores the idea of one big open cavern several vehicles can explore from a winding road on different levels. Inspired by the layout of @knotts Calico Mine Train. That idea stuck and evolved into the temple. @IndianaJones

Just ran across a fun sketch I did for DL "Indiana Jones." The jeep climbs out of temple, overheats w steam and stops at ledge, safe at last? (Track switches) then slowly careens backward inside to be chased by the giant stone ball in reverse. Sorry it's so low res.

Let’s all wish a very Happy Birthday to one of my good friends, the amazingly talented @BrandonKleyla who is also a HUGE Indy fan!
Speaking of, he wrote and directed “Indyfans and the Quest for Fortune and Glory” which is a 2008 American feature length documentary fan film that examines interest in the Indiana Jones films through interviews and profiles of more than 50 devotees of the films including Vic Armstrong, Wendy Leech and Tony Baxter just to name a few!
Worthy of a watch for any INDY FAN!

Happy 30th anniversary to the best ride I’ve never been on!
Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye had its ceremonial opening today 30 years ago!
To commemorate it, here are some items I’ve obtained from the ride over the years.
The poster is an original printers proof signed by Drew Struzan. Only 50 of these were available, this one is number 3 of 50!
