You let schools become a cash grab for the rich, erase the jobs then blame the people who cannot pay the loans back. Meanwhile we have a mental health,literacy and employment crisis.
The rich get richer the poor get poorer. We are watching it happen again.
Federal loans are the only reason I got my graphic design degree. But the root issue isn't the major—it's schools charging $90K for undergrad.
I graduated in 2010 and I’m still paying them off. Both things can be true: we need access and schools need to stop overcharging.
