Ash and Pikachu are like long time childhood friends that hold a special place in my heart. ✨ While I haven’t always closely followed their journey as I grew up, to see how far they’ve come makes my inner child incredibly happy. #anipoke

I don’t understand why people are happy about artists losing their jobs because of AI, literally everything you enjoy is because of an artist whether you like it or not

You give the same 3d model to an amateur and professional artist and see if they produce the same quality of results

Like I can't really say that it's bad conceptually but it feels as if you're skipping the hardest parts of the fundamentals to go straight to the "fun shit" by doing this especially since it could make beginner artists copy this type of process

they'll do this when one person in the group has one sided beef with you and then they'll exacerbate every single one of your flaws and build everything up and up until an irredeemable version of you exists in their head. You likely made a small, easily fixable mistake ->

just watched myself get unadded/blocked by a whole friend group on discord in real time with zero explanation. caught one of them before they blocked me and asked if i did anything wrong. blocked 5 minutes later, still no explanation

Youzai kindly let me have fun repainting one of her drawings of Kari and gatomon! It was a fun experience. Check out her Twitter 🤗

People really need to get over this. Use reference. Aggressively. Your brain is nothing compared to the richness and beauty of the world.
Snakepit SkelALTon@BanguscertifiedOct 9
Wait you’re telling me like 90% of artists are just drawing from reference most of the time

The coolest thing about some YGO designs is that they have direct visual parallels of each other. Yami Marik is quite literally supposed to be a false version of the Pharaoh (Atem) mimicking his spikes, cape, jewelry, and even his black sleeveless shirt seen on Yami Yugi lol
