Consul General @MahavirSinghvii attended the consecration ceremony of Shri Nilkanth Varni at Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Toronto (@baps_toronto).
He congratulated the temple authorities and devotees, commending the temple’s contributions to community service, spiritual enrichment and the preservation of India’s cultural heritage. He also highlighted the role of faith-based institutions in fostering compassion, harmony and community bonds.
The statue, depicted in tapasya mudra (a posture of austerity and meditation), symbolises perseverance, self-discipline, renunciation and devotion, inspiring selfless service and the pursuit of universal peace and well-being.
