Pakistan has enjoyed decades of global indulgence, especially from the West, and particularly from the Anglo-Saxon world thanks to historical and geopolitical quirks. The West therefore bears some culpability for building up Pakistan’s terror industry. The Islamic world is way ahead of the West in recognizing the dangers posed by Pakistan to themselves. China too, despite its master-client relationship has shown signs of uneasiness with the trajectory of the Pakistani state (Chinese workers and engineers have been attacked by terror groups there). The United States has provided Pakistan with substantial financial aid - nearly $78.3 billion between 1948 and 2016 - making it one of the largest recipients of U.S. assistance. This insane largesse was meant to promote regional stability and counterterrorism efforts. The results are plain for all to see. Not only is the region a hotbed of instability. The fact that we found Osama Bin Laden hiding out in Abbottobad, just a stone’s throw away from Pakistani military and government agency HQs, is something out of an absurd comedy sketch. This is like spending billions in education only to see US students’ reading and math scores plummet. Or increasing healthcare spending only to see chronic disease rates steadily climb while lifespans shrink. Defence trade between US and Pakistan has been furnished since 9/11 to the tune of $20 billion. We’re talking fighter jets (F-16s), missile frigates and attack helicopters. Why is our foreign policy like the titanic, unable to change course from its Cold War trajectory? The calls for equivalency between India and Pakistan once again just glosses over this fact: Pakistani-origin terrorism is a problem not just for India but globally as well, and it is financed and abetted by the state which is financed and abetted by the West.

Banerjee Commission, to falsify the murders of kar sevaks aboard the sabarmati express. Modi had to come to power to take back the appeal Sonia Govt had filed against Guj HC calling Banerjee Commission illegal and malafide.

Allow private business to invest in sports infrastructure by offering highest possible tax sops to backers. It takes > $10m of investment for every medal win, an UK study reveals. India's sporting budget can only fetch this many medals - 7 in total for a ~2.5K crore investment.

By total medal count( a bit more fair metric), we are ranked at 31. This is again much better than Rio (Rank 64), or London(Rank 38) by total medals. #India could have clinched double digit medals this time if few things went our way, but let's keep that for #Paris

Sirji I agree most Sikhs don’t want Khalistan because they understand they cannot get it. But the feeling of separatism, anti-hindu bigotry is there for all to see in Punjab. Saying this because I am from Punjab myself.

Wrong to compare the 2: In 1999&2013, BJP had zero leverage on CBN.. Both the time BJP was desperate to form govt in Delhi.. CBN used BJP desperation to squeeze them in state.. In TN, BJP has massive leverage over ADMK.. BJP Winning 10seats will be like a Tsunami in tamil-land

Yes totally agree. Been here for 20 years and vouch for it. It’s great weather for few days but not for prolonged stay. One doesn’t naturally sweat here. Respiratory issues are normal. Bronchitis, sinus, asthsma are common. If one works for IT industry then added issues of AC.

Sira in Karnataka is just 120 km from Bengaluru. But BJP didn't exist here. Forget winning, it had never come second! But in 2020 by election it won! A 46 year old defeated a 6 time MLA! This is remarkable. If BJP plans and executes like this, no place is impossible in India.

Kcr is more dangerous than cbn in this area. He is father of kejri in cheating ppl. He has blocked news of anti-hindu riots TG and put journalists in jail who tried to report. He is next level in managing media.

KCR political acumen is questionable. In 2009 before last phase of parliamentary election he joined NDA and even addressed NDA last election rally in Punjab. In 2019 he desparately tried to form non Congress front but he himself cut to size in Telengana.

I won’t ever forget what Modi sir told me in December 2013- Do not give up, for the world will always put hurdles in your path. Make the hurdles your friend, if you want to make a mark in the long run. Follow your dreams, for nothing is unachievable in today’s world.

During my next meetings, @narendramodi sir continued to add that his vision is to make PDPU a lifeline in energy industry of India. His dream is to make India self-reliant in crucial oil and gas sector where we import over 80% of demand and make us an energy superpower.
