The India Trek 2026 group began the first evening in Mumbai with a tour of the historic Taj Mahal Palace Hotel; one of India’s most iconic hotels, known for its heritage architecture and significance in Mumbai’s hospitality legacy. We then visited the Gateway of India, a landmark built in 1924 to commemorate the visit of King George V, and today a symbol of the city’s colonial history and waterfront identity. @tajhotels @incredibleindia @tourismgoi @HelloMTDC @maha_tourism @mybmc @Harvard @MIT @IndiaKyari

The India Trek 2026 group spent an afternoon in Old Delhi, beginning with lunch at Haveli Dharampura — the beautifully restored 19th-century haveli that reflects the grace of Mughal-era living. After lunch, we set out on rickshaws through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk. Weaving past spice markets fragrant with masalas, colourful wedding bazaars, old jewellery shops, and street vendors, the experience offered an authentic glimpse into the rhythm of Purani Dilli; where history, commerce, faith, and everyday life continue to coexist seamlessly. @Hav_Dharampura @incredibleindia @tourism_delhi @tourismgoi @Harvard @MIT @IndiaKyari
