I'm a cardiologist. Some of the most exhausted hearts I see belong to people with no blockages at all.
They are replaying a conversation from 2019. Rehearsing a disaster that hasn't happened. Demanding certainty from a life that never offered any.
The Japanese have a phrase: shikata ga nai.
"It cannot be helped."
It isn't surrender. It's refusing to spend your strength fighting what can't be changed, so you have some left for what can.
One question does most of the work:
Can I do something about this right now?
If yes, take one step. Not the whole solution. One step.
If no, put it down.
The past can't be edited. The future can't be guaranteed. Your body pays for every hour you spend in either one.
Overthinking rarely comes from having too many problems. It comes from replaying every mistake, controlling every outcome, and demanding answers life was never going to give you.
Do what you can.
Release what you can't.
Some things cannot be changed. Peace starts the moment you stop arguing with them.

A Nova Scotia woman had precancerous cells on her cervix.
That was two years ago.
Pap smear. Abnormal cells. Referral to a gynecologist so they could find out if it was cancer. The referral sat for nine months.
She finally gets an appointment. She shows up on time — 10 a.m., in her calendar. The office says it was at 9. Won’t see her. Won’t reschedule. Start over. New referral.
She leaves crying. Seven more months go by. They call about an appointment she was never told about. She can’t take it.
She’s on a TV contract. Miss it and they can sue her.
Next opening: next year.
They don’t even call her back. She has to chase them.
She said the quiet part out loud: imagine dying of cervical cancer while you wait just to see a gyno.
That is Canada’s “universal healthcare.”
Not free care. A government monopoly that loses your referral, punishes you for their scheduling error, and hands a possible cancer case a calendar date in another year.
Coverage on paper. Care on a waitlist. You pay the taxes either way. The state decides when you’re allowed to find out if you have cancer.
This is the model they want to import as Medicare for All.

🚨#BREAKING: A Black woman in York, PA, says she is “PERSONALLY OFFENDED” that officials called Black teens who DRAGGED a White girl off her porch and BEAT HER UNCONSCIOUS... “uncivilized.”
"To me, that feels like you're saying that the juveniles in this incident are uncivilized, and I am personally offended by that analogy."
She then goes on to argue that “other people” were involved... not just “people of color.”
She goes on to ask what the college will do to check the behavior of the (White) STUDENTS who are living off campus...
Yes, the ones who were BRUTALLY BEATEN she thinks needs to have their behavior "checked" and educated.
This is utterly insane, one of the craziest things I've ever watched in my life.
My college roommate Dave had zero survival instincts but massive panic response. Back in 2021 when people were freaking out about supply chain shortages, he panicked and ordered a 50-pound industrial sack of dry pinto beans from a restaurant depot website. The sack arrived. Dave had never cooked a bean in his life. He read online that you have to soak them in water overnight, so he dumped the entire 50-pound bag into our communal plastic storage bin, dragged it into the hallway, filled it with water from the shower head, and went to sleep. At around 3:45 AM, we woke up to what sounded like a wet bomb going off. Beans expand when they soak. Dave did not account for bean volume physics. The plastic bin had exploded under the sheer pressure of 50 pounds of hydrated legumes. I walked out into the hall and it was just ankle-deep in cold, slimy, swollen pinto beans stretching from our front door to the kitchen. Dave was standing there in his boxers holding a soup ladle, completely frozen, looking at me like he had just accidentally summoned an ancient deity. The apartment smelled like raw starch until we moved out in May.
I want to believe this is real.
Got added to a neighborhood WhatsApp group chat by a wrong number about a year ago. It was called "Oak Lane Watch." I don’t live on Oak Lane. I live on Maple Street, three towns over. But instead of leaving the chat like a normal person, I just stayed to lurk. For months, it was just typical suburban drama people complaining about leaf blowers or asking if anyone lost a ginger cat. But then, this guy named Keith started posting about a "suspiciously large bird" in his driveway. Nobody believed him. He kept posting updates, getting more and more frantic, and for some reason, I decided to back him up. I found a stock photo of a wild emu and texted, "Saw him on my lawn too, Keith. Stay strong." This triggered absolute suburban mass hysteria. People were locking their dogs inside. The HOA president called an emergency meeting. I eventually forgot about it until yesterday, when my actual neighbor asked if I’d heard about the "Oak Lane Emu" that apparently terrorized a town twenty miles away last year. I had to look them in the eye and pretend I’d never heard of it.

I can now confirm that I am representing the courageous and heroic lone holdout juror from the Lindsay Clancy Trial. He is an American Hero and Champion of Justice.
Please pray for him and help us protect him.
This American Hero and Champion of Justice loves the United States of America as the greatest country in the world; cherishes our sacred Constitution as the pinnacle of human liberty; and supports our amazing leader, President Donald J. Trump, as a fellow defender of common-sense, liberty, and sanity.
Rest assured that the evil people who have so viciously attacked this American Hero and Champion of Justice will be held accountable to the maximum extent of the law and beyond. In the meantime, though, he has persevered and remains utterly unbroken thanks to his devout Catholic Faith. As a devoted father and man of God, he will not be defeated or shattered by the wicked who wish harm upon him.
He is presently safe and sound at an undisclosed secure location in a rural area of Northern New England.
