With the 6th day, Friday, October 16, dedicated to Maa Katyayani, the sixth form of Goddess Durga. Known as the warrior form of the goddess, the Indian community in Latvia commenced Navaratri celebrations in Riga under #ColoursofIndia 2.0 edition.
Maa Katyayani symbolising courage, protection, determination and the power to overcome obstacles was offered prayers.
Prayers followed the traditional Garbha and Daandiya dance with all participating with full zest and devotion to Maa Durga🙏

ISRO has successfully conducted a test of Gaganyaan's Crew Module (CM) - Service Module (SM) separation system at VSSC! 🔥
Near the end of every orbital mission of Gaganyaan just before atmospheric reentry, it is crucial for the CM to cleanly separate from the SM for a safe return to Earth.
The goal of the test was to not only test the mechanical separation of the CM from SM, but also to demonstrate the smooth severing of the umbilical lines containing electrical and fluid connections running between them, as well as, testing the ability of the subsystems on board CM to survive the shocks and vibrations generated by the separation event.

Garba dance of Gujarat was officially inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity on December 6, 2023, during the 18th session of the Intergovernmental Committee in Kasane, Botswana.
Garba dance is traditionally performed to honour the cosmic energy, the Shakti.

For the past two days, the second India–European Free Trade Association (EFTA) Prosperity Summit has been underway, and there have been very productive discussions between businesses on both sides as well as between the ministers of both sides.
The European countries today see India as a major hub for innovation and manufacturing. Several kinds of partnerships are being established with India, which will also facilitate the exchange and co-development of technology. Under the #India–#EFTA partnership, almost 1.6 lakh people have been provided employment. This is expected to create approximately one million, or around 10 lakh, new jobs in total and generate new opportunities for the youth.
