. @Stacks is building more than a place to bring Bitcoin. It’s building ways to put that Bitcoin to work. The Q3 2026 ecosystem report highlights some important progress. → Approximately 735 BTC across the first two Bitcoin Staking bonding periods. → Staked $STX reached 493M, up more than 25% from the 392M post-PoX-5 baseline. → @StackingDao brought 483 BTC into Bonding Period 2 through stBTC. → @ZestProtocol reported $122M in deposits, $42M in borrows, and 800 BTC deployed as collateral. → Weekly DEX volume reached a 12-month high of $16.7M What interests me most is the connection between these developments. Bitcoin Staking brings BTC into the ecosystem. Liquid staking creates another route for that capital to reach DeFi, while protocols like Zest and @bitflow provide lending and trading infrastructure. $STX also has a role in the staking mechanism, making its growing participation worth tracking. Of course, these numbers don’t guarantee sustained adoption or a higher $STX price. The real test is whether capital keeps coming in and people continue using the applications built around it.
