Hi friends of @EduTweetOz, you may have noticed the account has been quiet for months. Unfortunately our admin team could no longer continue and we could find no volunteers to take over. Have you missed the account? Would you like to take over? Has the account run its course?

I want the Australian-Indian community to know you are loved, treasured and wanted here. You are woven into this community. And to any person who has family and loved ones in India: my heart beats with yours. Such a scary time for all of humanity. We will pull through together.

Alan Joyce earns $459,160 a week, but I’m listening in while my kid’s teacher runs a video conference with a class full of 6 year olds right now and I tell you what I know who really deserves $459,160 a week at the moment.

Just in case you missed it - Joint Standing Committee into the #NDIS is holding an inquiry into the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. Long terms of reference but the short version is - is it working? What needs to change? Make a submission here - aph.gov.au/Parliamentary_Bus…

The NDIS has placed all the work to navigate the service on the individual. This should not be their job, they should have a team of people working together to coordinate optimal care and support for the individual, not the other way around. Appalling system

Injustice lies in the disproportionate representation of marginalized student populations relegated to segregated environments in sp. ed. If your inclusion focus is on policy, practice & structure w/out addressing culture & implicit bias change is a pipe dream. #notadisability

It says something that Australians are filled with sorrow over the dreadful events in the USA where griefstricken Americans are rightfully calling for justice for #GeorgeFloyd - yet few of them mention, or have heard of, Joyce Clarke. #BlackLivesMatter perthnow.com.au/news/court-j…

The least LNP can do is initiate a independent enquiry for Ann Marie Smith and to prevent this from occurring again. Protect our vulnerable

This is what happens when private providers are given carte blanche to operate without proper systems, processes and procedures in place. Aged and Disability Care is leaving our most vulnerable suffering badly at the hands of ‘bottom feeders’, those entering the system for money.
