Lovely video describing how people with #aphasia were directly involved in shaping @NiamhDevane's new VESFA therapy (delivered in #EVAPark).

Visited @ExploreWellcome exhibits today. These quotes on the importance of friendship, creativity, and joy made me think of my life and their application to people with aphasia. Worth a visit @ACAphasia @IncaProject @JayneLindsay16 @KaterinaHilari @NicholasBehn @sallymcvicker

Fascinated to learn about @IncaProject: city.ac.uk/news-and-events/n… Aphasia affects 350,000 people in UK affects people’s ability to speak, understand speech, read and write. INCA addresses exclusion of people with language impairments from digital content creation and consumption.

Really moving collaborative project which subverted expectations I didn't know I had of people with aphasia. @Incaproject supporting them to become creators and share their experience. Thank you #HCIDUnlocked

Being part of @IncaProject has been …fun, inclusive, exploratory, creative, surprising & educational! #makewrite & #comicspin have enabled creativity, flow, play, humour & exploration with abstract words and concepts - often a barrier in aphasia. Great to be at today’s event !
