@IncTerse gives each Durable Actor its own SQLite state and processes one request at a time, creating a more controlled way for agents to work with shared data.
@karatzas_thomas and @oliviersm199 have released the infrastructure as open source.

Most common question I get is how @IncTerse Durable Actors are different from Cloudflare’s Durable Objects (besides us being open source).
Here are the main differences 🧵
These are the kinds of cool things you can build with me.
Every conversation is a durable Actor. This allows:
- only one person to be able to talk a time
- make the conversation go idle, and when you talk to character again, bring up the history as it was.
- fan out speech to all characters in the conversation easily.
And within the actor, a lot of cool logic. Namely:
- We use @typesafeai Jev to decide what info to divulge to you! (this is a murder mystery after all)
- @ElevenLabs to do text to speech.
Everything is dynamic! No two playthroughs are the same.
Oh and the front end is fully vibe coded with astra + @threejs.
we released durable-actors and are looking for the best way to stress test our infra.
we decided to build a multiplayer mystery game set in Victorian England powered by Durable Actors, @typesafeai Jev and @ElevenLabs.
