I reached out to their support and they assured me I can still use the current version past that date. "Adobe Animate's discontinuation does not mean you will lose access to your locally stored files and project data. You can continue to open and work with Animate files saved on your local device even after March 1, 2027. The discontinuation primarily affects access to online services and cloud-based features related to Animate. Your local files remain accessible and editable using the Animate application installed on your computer. To ensure smooth workflow, keep your Animate software updated and back up your local files regularly. This way, you can continue working on your projects without interruption despite the end of online support."
