The handler knelt and called to him. He approached with soft body language and began seeking affection. He allowed the handler to pet his head, but he can be a little head shy at first. He allowed the handler to check his teeth with no reaction. He allowed the handler to check his ears with no reaction. He allowed the handler to touch and lift all his paws with no reaction. He allowed the handler to touch his tail without issue. He displayed no negative or concerning behavior toward the handler. After the handling, he continued to seek affection and began to lick the handler’s arm.
