The absence of a relationship cannot (and should never) be a source of depression for a man when sex is the real commodity that is being sought for and he can afford it outside a relationship if he wants.
I mean that’s how cheap it is now.
For women though sex isn’t the ultimate commodity they’re after, because if it was, a few slutty messages are all it would take to some men on their CL and they would get it in a heartbeat. They don’t need a relationship for that.
That being the case, why then do they still crave for one? Because they want a more beneficial package where they can dump their burdens exclusively on one man and he eases their financial stress.
And for this, they cannot pay. Like you.
So the loneliness and depression will always be felt more acutely for them since the nature of their desired exchange is less negotiable.
Why then do you panic as a man?

The comments made by the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, at PodFestNaija 2026 have been deliberately taken out of context.
His remarks were neither a celebration of traffic congestion nor an indication that the Lagos State Government is comfortable with the inconvenience experienced by Lagosians.
Rather, he was explaining a reality that every resident of Lagos understands. Lagos is Nigeria’s commercial capital and one of Africa's busiest cities. Millions of people move across the state every day for work, business, education, entertainment and commerce. That daily movement has shaped how people plan their schedules, consume information, create content and conduct business.
In that context, traffic has become part of the Lagos lifestyle. It influences when people leave home, how businesses operate, how podcasts, music and digital content are consumed, and even how entrepreneurs reach their audiences. This was the point the Deputy Governor was making during a conversation about the growth of the creative and digital economy.
Recognising that traffic has become part of daily life is not the same as accepting it as the ideal. It is simply acknowledging the realities of a rapidly growing megacity while working continuously to improve mobility.
The Lagos State Government has consistently invested in practical solutions to improve mobility across the state. These include the expansion of rail transportation, the development of water transport, strategic road construction and junction improvements, intelligent traffic management systems, the deployment of LASTMA personnel, and Traffic Radio 96.1FM, which provides real time traffic updates to help commuters make informed travel decisions and reduce delays. Together, these initiatives form part of a comprehensive multimodal transport strategy aimed at reducing travel time and improving connectivity.
Those seeking to portray the Deputy Governor's comments as insensitive have relied on an isolated phrase instead of the substance of his remarks. Public discourse is best served when statements are presented in their full context rather than through selective excerpts.
Traffic is a reality of every major global city. In Lagos, it has become part of how people organise their lives, while government remains firmly committed to making that reality easier, safer and more efficient for everyone.

Tbh i don't even know if i can defend this take anymore given how much he goofed as a minister, yes being a minister and governor are two different things and his records as governor is stronger, but what if it's just that he doesn't have that dawg in him anymore?

Never send double texts. She saw the first one.
Don’t scold or lecture her. Unnecessary ego pump (also loser behavior).
Don’t get angry, recognize the test and play the game.
Move on to other interesting things or people. If they’re interested, they eventually text back.

I’ve written before that game isn’t about getting, it’s more about how you get. Nobody listens.
When your low self esteem leaves you desperate about how you’re viewed, you never develop your mental framework to entertain the possibilities that life presents. You’re caught playing on scarcity: sucking and squeezing every energy and resource for an outcome, so much that the outcome, if ever gotten looses its appeal—beyond satisfying your juvenile,
immature and unrefined vanities which you won’t even be satisfied with.
You see couples today and you can tell that they feel pressured to perform for a crowd they don’t even know. And the man who set the course of the relationship, only finds fulfilment in the fact that he “bagged” a woman. As if he was expected to bag a fish.
This childish and stupid display of conceit is only closely met by the woman’s primary interest is to “pepper” others, including strangers, while she harbours the discomfort and later resentment which arises in dealing with a man she isn’t genuinely attracted to.
Too many dudes lol—too many dudes, haha! I’ve also once written that if you’re anything close to a real G you’d avoid most men today. You can be civil with them, but you’ll not respect them. This is what they’ve always known. It’s who they are their core—it doesn’t get better. They really can’t help themselves, regardless of their funny posturing online and tough talk in the gyms, barbershops and beer parlour. Lol, I’m now tired of writing.
