A call to Coaches and Athletes all around the world to leverage your influence right where God has planted you. “Coach and Compete with Impact” coaches.impactdisciples.com youtu.be/K-uk6vWY2wg

Next week, I conclude my weekly Discipleship Group with these men; Bret Butler, Jason Burke, & Marlin McPhail. For 6-months, these men have memorized scripture wkly & have not missed ONE 6:45am Thursday morning group meeting. They have been Faithful, Available & Teachable. 🙏 ♥️

Love “getting” to lead these three men weekly in our online discipleship group. Every Thursday morning @ 7am the screen populates from square boxes to live faces. Matthew 28:19 “Therefore Go and Make Disciples.” It’s the “great commission” … not the “great suggestion.”

“Coaching with Impact” and “Competing with Impact” Jesus spent three years training twelve men to continue His mission of disciple-making. There was no Plan B—Plan B was Plan A! These twelve young men had moved from “untrained” to “fully trained.” They were “all in.” And now, they were ready to display the “character and conduct”of Christ by “Being and Building” disciples of Christ—and the world was forever changed. Over twenty years ago, I committed my life to becoming a “fully trained” disciple of Jesus and to “make disciples.” It was non-negotiable. No more riding the fence. No more being half in and half out. Every year, I committed to leading a discipleship group for athletes and/or coaches—teaching them, leading them, and discipling them to become “fully trained” disciples. Below is a powerful testimony from a High School Head Football Coach in Georgia. “The Coaching with Impact-disciple making group, led by Kevin Burrell, had a profound impact on me as a person and a coach. Week after week, month after month, I learned about the “Character and Conduct” of Christ. Learning how Jesus led, influenced others, and prioritized building relationships was eye-opening to me. I thought I did it well, but wow—had I fallen short. This study has both encouraged and challenged me to go beyond what I was doing as a Christian head football coach. I now clearly understand the Great Commandment and Great Commission, and what we are called to be and do every day as a coach to build God’s Kingdom.” impactdisciples.com/product-…

Grateful getting to lead and pour into these men every week at 7am. Their faithfulness and commitment to the disciple making process has been nothing short of amazing. (Luke 6:40) @ImpactDisciples

It was an honor getting to discuss baseball and faith with my friend and Pastor,⁦@rustylgeorge⁩ in his latest “Simple Faith” podcast. rusty-george.transistor.fm/e…

The ministry of Jesus was only three years in length. He made such an impact in those three years that people are still talking about His life today. Will people still be talking about your life and the impact you’ve made 2000 yrs from today? Live your life with the end in mind.

”And I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will guide you with knowledge and skill.“ Jeremiah 3:15 For the last 9-weeks I’ve got to disciple & shepherd these amazing coaches in my community. They’ve all been.. F: Faithful A: Available T: Teachable ❤️

My life’s mission is to intentionally invest into as many Coaches, Scouts and Leaders yearly in my community & across America. Each fall / winter I ‘get to’ lead a group of men through 12-14 weeks of discipleship—teaching them the Character and Conduct of Christ. Matt 28:19-20
