Unlike many, I rarely found this platform 'toxic'. It was a haven of bookish chat.
I stayed because I hoped positive people could make it a better place.
But when the owner urges violent change to my democratically elected government, I can no longer stay.

They’re also reading #OneSummerInItaly in Australia! ‘I absolutely loved this book…I couldn’t put it down Fabulous storyline...interesting characters’ #Venice P’back, audio, ebook FREE on Kindle Unlimited & Prime #TuesNews @RNATweets mybook.to/SummerinItaly
It feels a little pompous 'announcing' this. I mean, who's interested in one author. But recent comments were the straw that broke this camel's back. I'll miss the engagement (won't miss the bots or people trying to sell 'marketing') and might be back if things change.

I'm not religious but when I was growing up in school assembly we had a lovely Padre whose message was Jesus was a love & peace man & we little ragamuffins had to treat each other with respect & kindness .I missed the bit where he was an ethno-nationalist gun rights advocate😳
