We can't physically distance in prison and jails.

We should be free.
We need action now.

The police's racist use of excessive force to enforce social distancing is a violation of human rights and dignity.

You leave prison with $200. You face immense obstacles towards employment, housing, and critical services due to a felony record. The system punishes you and impedes opportunities at every turn. It's always been a crisis for #OurPeople.

@Ava: "I feel that that's not a question that people who are not white should answer. We take on the emotional labor of racism. And it is not our job to explain to white folk how to fix their broken selves in this context, right?"
"We have to look to history. We're not the first to be in this situation. And I think the idea that we are helpless is just an idea that I don't accept." @Ava on the current climate in America. #BlackLivesMatter
